When I was in 8th grade (1973 ) the Big Mac went from 45 cents to 50 cents ! Mom was pissed, but said okay when I ordered my customary TWO.

@@Baja2424 -- Wendy's no longer uses Dave Thomas' original recipes. The only item resembling the original recipe is the Frosty, and they've reformulated it at least once.
I’ll take an In-N-Out Double Double over a Big Mac any day of the week. Both about the same price.
Sorry folks, the Big Mac was NOT invented in Pittsburgh, it was copied from Buddy Morgan's Twin Kiss "Twin Burger" in McClellandtown, PA that Jim tasted when he was in the Uniontown, PA area.
Next time you go to order a Big Mac, do yourself a favor, substitute the patties with 1/4 lb patties and thank me later. Its how the Big Mac should be.

Why is it called the big mac, when the burger patties on it are really small.
The French Fry being the most popular item is somewhat misleading seeing as how most sandwiches is because most people buy anything with fries while there are almost no side order alternatives included in the meal deals.

Alright I’m gonna say it.. A McDouble with Mac Sauce is way better than the Big Mac.
Because it doesnt have lettuce and no middle bun. Lettuce on burgers doesnt make sense in my opinion.

You got the name of the Alaska version of the Big Mac wrong. It's called the Denali Mac after Mt. Denali, the tallest mountain in N. America.
Many, including me, still call it the McKinley Mac after the tallest mountain in North America.
