I’ve been battling with the direction I want to go with my life, I prayed before watching this video that it will help lead me in the right direction. I prayed the same prayer for a couple years asking God to make things very obvious for me and I’m still surprise when things become obviously God. I say all this to say I just read the 1st chapter of James and it answered all my questions. Thanks for being apart of this 2 year journey.

Good word this morning. I am trying to reestablish my first love. It is refreshing to hear this word this morning as part of my devotional. Thank you, keep doing what you are doing!
I really needed to hear this today, especially the part about being patient. My wife has been stressed a lot at work and has been depressed. I make things worse because, being a man, I always try to fix things. I hate knowing my wife is hurting and there isn’t anything I can do to make things better. This devotion has caused me to re-evaluate things. Instead of being “Mr. Fix-it”, I need to just be there for her to lean on, cry on, and vent to, without judgement or recommendations of what she needs to do or what I would do.
Thank you for what you do and please keep up the good work. You are greatly appreciated.

Paul says in Romans 8:18, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
This is how James can say count it all joy. Because Hebrews 12 says that Christ for the JOY set before him, he endured the cross.
When Paul says in Philippians 4 that we should rejoice in the Lord always. How is that possible? Because regardless of whatever is here, there is ALWAYS something in the Lord to rejoice about.
