About 8 years ago I fractured two vertebrae and ended up in the hospital and subsequent rehab. A friend brought this book to me while in rehab and I read in two days. Just this evening my daughter and I were fortunate to hear a young lady speak at our church on the subject of the Lord's grace and presence with us in our sufferings. She is just 21 years of age and yet has been in more than 20 countries as the daughter of missionaries. Since her last name was LeTourneau, on a long shot I asked if she knew of this amazing book. She smiled and said LeTourneau was her great, great uncle.... indeed he has a legacy that continues to exalt Christ.

Amen, praise God. Just read through in his book “Men and Mover of Mountains” where he held bible studies for his workers during lunch. So true how one man’s actions and choices can impact others even through the generations to come.

How well did he pay his workers if he was just giving money away

Very well indeed for the time and local economy. Many relatives worked with LeTourneau in Toccoa, GA after the war, and some during the war. At that time, LeTourneau's was the largest employer in the region.
