On TarkovTV Nikita confirmed they would be wiping twice before the end of the year. Once in August and once in Decemeber. We do not have dates yet but it appears August 17th might be wipe from a leaked count down clock on the Podcast. So I was cooking with *AT LEAST* 1 month away.

I think they skip unity update for wipe and send the wipe with the other half of the last patch that they withheld, then drop the unity patch and 14 around the same time halfway through wipe.
The devs done a livestream today and said the wipe won’t be until sometime in August. People are just saying July 20th because that’s when this event is over. Hopefully it’s the 20th. But I don’t think it’s gonna be.
the content and technical updates are made by different people, so there's no correlation between 0.13.1 and transition to Unity 2021. transition can happen tomorrow or even after 0.14.0 release.
if wipe was soon they shouldve dropped it with 13.1, as 14.0 felt more like an end of year wipe (thats usually when they drop big content). I was hoping we'd have got wipe with 13.1 by now, arena in october, 14.0 in december, but BSG. I just hope arena gets its own space to breathe on release, be really shit if they drop both at once.

This is my first wipe, I have the game for more than a year, but the gear fear always made me drop it, I never reached more than level 8. Last week I finally managed to play it and decided to give a fuck to my gear. I'm level 6 now and having tons of fun with this game. Next wipe I'll play it more, this game is awesome

its wipe every 6 months, half a year of development between wipes. if it were 4 months, there would be less development/wipe, which could be either good asf or just bad

I did not play this wipe but if we do not wipe by august I am just grinding to level 42. It wont take me long especially now where no one is doing quests so I can just rat and play safe. Once wipe does come if they give us all the content they are promising I will be so happy. We will get so much content next wipe could big one of the biggest with just how much we are getting. Its a bunch of small stuff but its all stuff I have been hyped for since they got announced like a year or two ago.

@@sebastianrivera4819 its because your new once you learn maps and learn how players move through them its easy to avoid players. An example is customs I completely avoid construction as players always head straight there. Also learning spawns. Questing mid wipe and being new is really hard. Best advice is either just wait or power through it and just keep trying eventually you will get better. Also look up a guide for quest items. You can find lists of all the found in raid items you need so you can make sure you keep the ones you will need later down the line same with keys.

ive been saying this. the unity update wont happen at a fresh wipe. its gonna break shit, they know that, and they know that if they wipe and all these players come back to a fucked up game its not gonna be good. knowing bsg they still wont have a fix for half the issues caused by the unity update by the time they do wipe.
If wipe isnt this month, i dont really intend on playing the game in the future anymore. Ill most likely forget about it by that point. Would be an insanely bad decision to wait any longer. I know 8 people that play tarkov in my friend group and literally none of us have played for like 2.5 months. I can imagine how low their player base is right now LOL.
I hope we are 1,2 months from wipe since I go to vacation :D don't want to miss it and it's best to not come until they fix some things this is their last resort...

they are really slow....they are not slow, they have a really good pace of updates with huge changes from map expansions to improvements, but as all the other game companies with a minimum success in the game industry , they rely on game engines and coders , I can give you they are not that good on netcode but taking in consideration the amount of detail and hight volume packpage communication between servers and clients the game its running pretty neat , more after the netcode update (with yeah some picks and downs like always) . The game actually owns any other similar game with multiplayer focus . Thousands of quests, huge and numerous maps , deep mechanics.... I do understand you making or trying to make a living out of the game and thats tough but BSG its doing a good job if you take a general look on the lastest releases from much bigger companies.

The game actually its huge in content , I would say even too much , for a normal casual player.(for those who dont understand this , people with average jobs who play around 2 to 15 hours a week)

Its like if someone goes to a custom car convention. See a prototipe he likes and ask to buy it and give it a go. Then the seller advices you , its a prototipe , it does not run yet, it does not have wheels and it will not run till its ready. You sing a contract with the seller to be one of the prototipe tester when its ready(remember seller has never told you a release date) .

So my advice would be , Read what you sing before complaing about something you have agree with .

That does not make BSG or RSI or any gaming company a scammers as far as they are up to contract clausules. Are you rightfull to get fustrated because your own predictions does not fit reallity? Yes, Does that makes BSG a bad Studio. Not at all.
Just take a look in the industry , amount of patches and content released and you will notice they are not that bad on keeping the game alive and improve it .
And if you know a bit about game developing then you notice they are a quite neat decent company wich have manage with less money and size than triple AAA companies to develop and delivery a pre access that easily owns games with way bigger budget .
Thats why even Call of duty has added a extration mode .
If the biggies of the industry wants to copy a small russian studio based in London its for a reason , and that reason does not match with catasthrophyc theorys and phrofecies about the game diying or being a scam.

The longer we have until next wjpe the better. What I'm the most stoked for is 1.0 so I can play the main campaign and finally see the end of wipes. After playing every wipe since launch Im over it. I want to keep my progress. Having the choice to wipe or not is going to be great for a lot of "normal" people. We all can' t play for 12 hours a day.
