I'm honestly just happy he's playing because he unironically helps bring new players to a dying genre that's not as commercially successful as BRs, FPS's and MOBAs: RTS
Real-Time Strategy has long been my favorite genre and it's nice to see he doesn't have to struggle with any ladder anxiety which does turn a lot of people away from RTS's at first
StarCraft has a longer running history than pretty much every games pro scene they doing fine

Lil overwhelming at the start but I’d definitely recommend it to most people. Fucking love AOE series.
@@callum5208 the series is one of the biggest game franchises ever (at least in my country germany). Its pretty hard to call it underrated. Rn RTS are not very famous but if you talk bout the whole series aoe is a very huge franchise especially back in early 2000s

Main tips for first game: build your farms under TC to be safer. If you have to trade for resources, reassign workers to fix your macro so you don't have to make the same trade again

I would recommend either practicing against Easy AI, or play a match with a friend that's a like tutorial match, where you learn the basics of combat tactics and unit building

bro use shift+ left click when building farms when you have lot of resourses (wood) use it for militairy buildings
ist faster speed is key in this games
if you control group your tc and prdoduction buildings use the hotkeys
dubbel click hotkeys to jump where they are so you dont need search on map
make farms behind your tc not in front use the front mill just for the natural food on map
try use scout to see what your enemy does dont get surprice rushed hot key your scout
shift+click to move around with scout and army make way point so you can do more things at same time
watch one off build order from the pros
no hate or anything i want you become better so we can see you have some good games

so there is some progression deer at the begining and then to sheep is good strat if u react fast enough when they come to harass u so yea. It is easier to get deer when nobody has units then to do it later

Deer rush is good, but you often scare the deer AWAY from the Mill instead of TOWARDS the mill. Ideally all the deer should die next to the mill. You can do this by moving the scout so deer are nearer to the mill than the scout when you shoot them. Then they run away from the scout towards the mill.

He have micro he need to llearn macro as well , pitting a castle behind , or putting farms in fron of your base are obviusly problem , then he need to remeber where his wood worker work so he can refresh lumber, he even got arrow armor vs hre

The more everyone traded woods for gold, the less gold everyone get from woods.
The camel trade is distance based. The farther the camels walk, the more gold you get per trade.
You shouldnt use the market for rss. Its not very efficient. It shouldnt be a habit to trade in the market.
