Buying products on amazon can be a hassle if the seller doesnt ship to South but its noth impossible even when forwarding agent is not involved

Basically the video it saying amazon sent it africa because this particular item was a available to ship there. There was no special method to get anything shipped internationally with out forwarding.

I've seen some items only showing shipping fees without import duties fee and at checkout it shows zero estimated import/tax fees...what does that mean? ...will I have to pay additional tax fees on my own or it's already part of the shipping fees even if they don't state it as "shipping + import duties"?

Hi there PMHK, great content as usual, and new sub from me. I have a quick question for you. I currently have funds in my Amazon account and never got the chance to use it. Now with this pandemic situation, I have seen that Amazon does not reflect 'ships to South Africa' on most of the products which were applicable for shipping to SA before the pandemic. I am aware that the SA Government has not fully opened their borders for exports from Amazon, however I am not aware if the USA has opened their borders ie, when will they be shipping to South Africa? Will Amazon ever open their services to South Africans again? Should I be worried about the funds that I have not been able to use, which is stuck with Amazon? Please help me understand a little bit more about this situation, as I am new to Amazon. Thank you so much.

Hi brother, please help! I ordered items on Amazon they were R4999 in total including shipping and importing fee, fine. They have already took R3680 and R180 at different times on my account I’m fine with that, now the remaining amount for them to take is about R1140. Now they tried taking R4200 from my account but they couldn’t because it exceeds my available balance on my account (I have enough to for my remaining amount though) my bank has been notifying me with this more than 3 times now they tried to take R4200 2 times and R4560 once. Luckily I don’t have that amount so it can’t go through. and I can’t put that money cause they’ll take it and it’s more that what I should pay . And now on my Amazon app my items are written “Payment revision needed”.😭😭 what should I do? Or there’s something I need to understand behind this?? Please help

What you can do is cancel the whole thing request a refund if needed then try again.
Hi that first charges were authorization charges pending charges that are held in your account they only really charge you once the item ships out. Check with your bank see what they say.
Hi will it not be cheaper to ship a 15kg package through MyUS or any forwarding agent. Because amazon shipping and import fees are crazy.

I find Amazon shipping to SA expensive, around R300 - R400.
Then maybe you should stick to buying locally.
@@PMHK_za Not a solution, ebay is priced better at shipping however the delay comes with our South African Postal Services, perhaps a forwarding agent may be a solution for Amazon to reduce shipping costs and region limitations on products
