In today’s video I am continuing with the installation of the ribs in both the vertical stabilizer and the rudder. I’m unsure what my fascination is with the horizontal stabilizer is but I keep saying that in place of the vertical stabilizer & even went so far as to misname the thumbnail. Not only on this video but also in the previous. I’m working on remedying that as I type this. If you see me doing something wrong please let me know. If you enjoy the content tell me one way or another also in the comments section. Without input from the viewers I don’t know if things are good or bad with the content.
Thanks for coming back or clicking for your first time & watching, I look forward to making the next video.
Cheers & Happy Building,
Matt

Your Welcome! Thanks for the honorable mention!
You da Man! You flying yours yet? I hope to get there one day.
Gotta pay credit where it is due!
Looking good guy. Glad to see another video from you.. Cant wait for the fuselage covering.
Thanks for commenting. That will make two of us! That is the scary part in my opinion. I can hang Sheetrock, but muddying it is another story. I pray that I can do a good job.
Have a great day and watching another video.
@@KingFox76 I think it will be easier than you think.. As you know there are tons of videos on the subject. I can't wait to build my own kitfox. Just need to get the wife on board. there's something about building and flying your own machine. So I'm told. You are methodical and careful and you have a bunch of us out here cheering for you..
@@kikker2087 Thanks again for the reply, there are more that is for sure. The reason I started my channel due to the lack of videos on the subject, I was unsure this was a project that I could handle. I appreciate the cheering, you need to get her up in a small plane to see if she likes it or not. That could be a deal breaker but I’m sure you will convince her. It is pretty cool to fly into a place, have your car brought up to you and then you go shopping all day! True story
Good idea there with the yardsticks. I just eyeballed it on my build and fortunately I was wearing my glasses at the time so I think it all came out straight.
By the way, I see that you still have those little "tape strips" running sideways across your ribs. When I saw that on mine I just figured they were there to help keep the ribs from sticking together during shipping, or perhaps when being laser-cut. Since the manual didn't mention what that was, I just peeled it all off of my ribs.
Hello Mr. Sisson, thanks for watching and commenting. I was going to do something similar using the square like I did on the horizontal stabilizer, actually I think I used a piece of Owen’s Corning EPS foam! Not the best straight edge but it worked. One of my subscribers, Jason Murphy, wrote to me and told me to look at some of his build photos on his EAA website build. Once I saw it I thought it was a good idea. So we’ve gone back and forth a bit on iMessage about other tips and tricks. That is one of the times where things like this pay off. I removed those little mole skin strips on my ribs I put in the horizontal stabilizer and will be doing so in one of the future videos. Easier to peel off than try to sand through them for sure. Have a great day, Matt
