Will more Squeeze pressure between the anilox roll and impression roll apply less ink to the impression plate? Giving a thinner ink coating on the substrate?

Will more pressure between the anilox and the impression plate give a thinner coating on the substrate?

A heavy pressure shear on the chamber could create this. More pressure will create a smashed image and over impression. Sometimes appearing as an outline or a shadow. May even give a heavier coat on the substrate. Most printing press run on the idea of a "kiss impression" just a light touch or kiss to the anilox then a kiss to the paper as well.

What line count/bcm do you recommend for running mattes with a decent matting load at high speeds?
What causes spitting issues with these aniloxs when it happens and what is the fix?
Also should a anilox inked with UV flexo should it look dull vs looking shinny ?
