Helped my friend in Jamaica build a mid engine k truck using a MR2 mk1 engine and tranny .....turbo charged.....275 HP short shifting and coasting( was running a 12sec bracket class)ran 11.7 and has pulled wheelies on falken Azenes tires....fun truck......
Talk about a momentum car...GEEZ. Loved seeing this awesome kei truck get some track time! Not to mention, a Coby feature! P.S. How dare you spread PB before the J and get PB all up in your J jar!

Coby Tested + K car + full Aero/time attack build = you cannot make this up! G&G you are the mavericks of YT. I just wish there were YT Oscars, you deserve it!
I had an idea. And I'd be all right with this truck using it. Instead of the typical "crotch rocket" engine... maybe do something out the norm that gives it a super unique sound and powerband.... like a large displacement Ducati, or the Harley Revo Max 1250.
I would love to build shit like this if I could haha. Absolutely love it. Hobbies are about having fun. You don't need something that's proven to be a good recipe for that :)

This is freaking hilarious and I hate how youtube doesn't push stuff like this, but pushes the Top Gear style road trips. People would love this too. More weight into the fact the algorithm suuuuucks
my unit had a bunch of these (daihatsu left hand drive) we used as flight line/shop trucks. I would pick-up and deliver parts with ours that we nick named "the da-hat-rack" lol. I always envisioned one lowered with wide tires but this is way beyond what I ever dreamed, oh they have extend cab versions
Seeing how Fragile K Trucks are in crashes, This Needs a front outer or inner roll cage to from prevent the front from crushing you against the seat in the event of a front end shunt. LOVE the looks of the build Otherwise :)

The need to cut the rear of the cab and space it back 4 or 5 inches. Level with the roof spoiler or so. It would allow the drivers seat to be moved back which would both put the driver in a more comfortable position also move the weight of the driver back a little bit.

There is actually a race of it at Sepang. Marty & Moog from Mighty Car Mods actually raced there last year with a Daihatsu Charade
