- Baspa and Sangla Valley: It is one of the most beautiful valleys of Kinnaur district, which is about 250 km from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
India's last villages, Rakchham and Chitkul, are situated near the Indo-Tibetan border in this valley. The air quality here is so good that it is considered one of the best in India.
Chitkul: Nestled in Kinnaur Valley, Chitkul is nothing short of a traveler's paradise. Chitkul is located at an altitude of about11,000 ft. With Kinnaur Kailash in the backdrop, Chitkul boasts its unparalleled beauty on the banks of Baspa River. The valley is surrounded by high mountains with wooden houses and apple orchards. In winter this place remains covered with snow.
Rakchham: “Rak” means Rock and “Chham” means bridge, literally Rakchham means a rock bridge. Rakchham is the 2nd last village of India situated at an altitude of 10,000 feet. This is a very quiet and peaceful village with population of only 800 people.
