LYRICS:
Movin' to the country
Gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country
Gonna eat me a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country
Gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country
I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches
Peaches come from a can
They were put there by a man
In a factory downtown
If I had my little way
I'd eat peaches every day
Sun-soakin' bulges in the shade
Movin' to the country
Gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country
Gonna eat me a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country
Gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country
Gonna eat a lot of peaches
Took a little nap where the roots all twist
Squished a rotten peach in my fist
And dreamed about you, woman
I poked my finger down inside
Make a little room for an ant to hide
Nature's candy in my hand or can or a pie
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free
Look out
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free
Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free
Look out - Hudba
My husband just started singing this as he ate canned peaches. I have never heard this song and thought he made it up. He told me to CZcams it so here I am. Glorious.
lol....
BASED
Are you a Presidents fan now?
🍑
Cos your husband rules!!🍑🍑🍑
"Peaches come from a can; they were put there by a man...in a factory downtown". Shakespeare wrote that, right? Brilliant, possibly the best lyric ever written.
Shakespeare wishes he wrote that.
My uncle worked for Dole farm he would have loved this.

@@user-iw6ri5fr9s best song
I remember seeing these guys in the 90s when I lived in Seattle. It was just after they released their debut album and just before it became huge. I remember having pizza, amazing craft beer on tap, and being blown away at the performance. I really took all that for granted back then. I miss it so much now.
I saw them in Seattle back then, too! I miss the old funky fun Seattle... it's trash now.
@@jenniferwhite7134 I kept wondering why everyone kept telling me Seattle was awesome. I went there, saw the Space Needle (enjoyed it), the Chihuly museum next door (LOVED IT), and then couldn't wait to go home. Now I know it USED to be great but went downhill.
I miss a lot of things from the 90s. I was too young and poor to do a lot on my own, and I feel like I really missed the best era. Between all the awesomeness of the 80s and 90s that I grew up seeing, I think being born in the 60s and the 70s let you see the best things. Being born in the 80s has left me constantly feeling like I just missed the awesome train.
@@jenniferwhite7134don’t call liberal paradises trash! 😂
There are still some decent nightlife areas and cool music venues but it’s a much more corporate, sterile city now, with a really bad homeless problem.. Same with where I grew up, San Francisco. Used to be awesome - now it’s super boring and lame, and also has a major homeless issue.
Yeah. That's the problem with being young in the 90s; we didn't know it wasn't always gonna be like this, that we were living on a creative island in the middle of a sea of banality. Times like that only happen by every 30 or 40 years or so.
When my daughter was an infant and we were spoon feeding her, she loved eating peaches. So I sang this to her every time we had peaches. She's turning 18 this year. Such a good memory with a good song.
😊
Holy crap...same here
You do know what this song is about, not peaches..
A hint, what does a peach look like, now imagine he is singing a song about eating a lot of that.. Sorry to ruin your memories
Nobody cares
I know....i laughed so hard when i read GongaDucks comment @@74KU
One of the most fun bands to come out of the 90s ever. Thanks for the replay value PUSA!
Amen to that. I got my first of their albums, a copy of "II," from a Goodwill in March 2008. They quickly became a favorite.
But we did not need that damn hand puppet
@@101Volts Thats fucking great man, exposure is certainly what makes you, building blocks so to speak
You went into the right store, at the right time.
And now you're... you!
OMG! Ninjas?
This used to be my JAM! 🙋🏾♀️💯💯
One of the best songs ever writen. They really pushed the envelope with the lyrics.
😂
Yep, us guys love them Peaches 😅
Don't hold back when you're writing a masterpiece 😊
@dannyzeigler9892 And it is a Masterpiece hahah 😆 🤣
My exact though when i heard this song when it came out😂. What a bunch of nothing. But still jam to it
Ahhh the 90's what a time to be alive lol....
I know people say this about their era but truly was the greatest time to be a teen. Just enough technology to be super comfortable, but not too much to make you brain dead.
@@BeerBreath702couldn’t agree more. I believe it’s definitely more than some nostalgic feeling us 80s babies get. The 90s were truly a glorious time to be alive.
Amazing... I'm watching this in '23 and it is pure nostalgia. Thank you Presidents for the brilliant music and videos...
OMFG OMFG OMFG so excited to get this up in higher-res version...and thx for all the kind words here. Yes, I actually got BEAT UP making this video...my ninja opponent was not quite dialed in with pulling his kicks to my shoulders and after a number of takes I had some mighty bruises on my deltoids.
\m/
Yeah but you got some good shots in there!
How close did you get to giving as much as you got? Or was it just you receiving the blows?
Thanks for the tunes man.
Awesome 👌 I love this song. Thanks for the good jams.
I sing this song every time I buy a can, or bag of peaches...
This is one of those mid 90's songs that stick in your mind, so as a kid and now my late 30's I'm "movin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches. I'm movin' to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches!".
However, I never did move to the country... But I sure as hell ate a lot of peaches. 😎
Lol also in my late 30’s and do the exact same thing 😄
I did grow up very deep in the Canadian country though, and now live kind of on the outskirts of it, so when the farmers markets come to town - you best believe I know all the best spots to hit to get the best fruit the country has to offer all year 😊 I just wish we had more variety sometimes like countries with warmer climates, but I still can’t complain about our homegrown goodies.
That shit is sinfully delicious.
There's still time!
Anytime I see or think about peaches - this song is in my head
"peaches" also means pretty girl.
Cool story bro!❤
What a song, what a band, what a video. Everything about them kicked ass.
Is it the literal ninja fight?
So what...
@@thegame6141Triple H sucks, that’s what
@@uberxchuck944 oh really?
It's so great to see a band that loves making music, and doesn't take themselves too seriously.
I always loved how only 3 musicians playing minimalist gear still made SO MUCH NOISE!! 🍑
Half the strings, twice the rock!
chunky a/f Bassuitar lah 🎸🥁🎸
Sort of like the Screaming Blue Messiahs
That was the 90's for ya good times
@@tiki_trash more like 42% the strings
The fight scene with the ninjas at the end is pure gold.
Ninjas were a real problem in the 90s...
Go back and listen to the song w/o the music video. There really is an awkward pause in the middle that needed a ninja fight. I always knew it was missing something.
New Jack Black/Super Mario/Bowser song “peaches” got me hankering for this good ol slice of Americana. I hope it reminds everybody of this song, and creates a massive comeback for PUSA.
Same same same saaaame😂
My thoughts as well!! 🎉
I had this on VHS... let that sink in
You're legendary
When I first saw that Jack Black sang “Peaches” in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, I thought it was going to be this song.
We need more of this 90s sound back
90's music, no matter how ridiculous it was, had a soul unlike any generation.
Every time I eat peaches, I sing the first verse and chorus. And every time, my husband tells me I made it up. FINALLY after 11 years, we looked it up and I thoroughly enjoyed the MV! Here I am repeating the same scenario with other family members, and so happy to find this higher res version! .😂😂😂 I can’t wait to share this with my son who was a teenager when this song was playing on the radio! Thank you, PUSA!
"peaches" also means pretty girl.
@@Ultras_Nagoya. Princess Peach is a girl I guess. Mostly it's just those things that grow in cans on trees.
@@Ultras_Nagoya. For the one song in existence not about sex, drugs, suicide, can we just enjoy this one song that's about peaches only? My toddler likes that song about lollipops but of course it's about how men are lollipops. Ew. And youtube says it's a song for kids. Just have a song about lollipops that's as wholesome as this one. Does EVERY song need to be about wanting to have sex and do drugs?
This was our class song. I sang it at our 25th High School Reunion. I received a standing ovation.
Scientists confirmed that this song isn't actually about peaches. :O
The 90s were weird, fun, and plain awesome. The music was fun. I miss that decade!
It was the last decade of real music...
At 1:36 does anyone else feel their heart start racing? I used to always have this in my run playlist, back when I ran, and no matter what, no matter how tired I was, when that break hit, I just started sprinting like a madman! That little interlude never ceases to get my heart pumping. Such genious. Love these guys.
This song makes me think about peaches.
I used to listen to this whole record on my Sony Walkman during warm summer evenings the year after this was released. So many fond memories of my childhood. Still stands up today!
😊
Omg are you me? Thats my history
This song has given me the same feeling of awesomeness and inspiration every single time I hear it! It's like I hear it for the first time every time! Now my old eyes can watch it in HD which means I'm probably breaking even with the upload here... Thanks PUSA!!
Hells yes. Same.
One of the best music videos ever because great song and NINJAS! Remember seeing this when came out on the original MTV!
Saw these dudes in Boston back around 96. Awesome time live. Great fun band
Was it at the avalon on Lansdowne Street?
This never gets old, i still have my CD i bought in the 90s :')
I've got mine and it's signed and doodled on by the band
Dude totally ...dido
So do I !!! Lol
It has been old lol speak for yourself.
@@shortyz0764 you have your Dido CD too?
Same guys who sang the theme song for The Drew Carey Show Cleveland Rocks!
When I was rocking out to this song as a child I thought the guy just really liked peaches
Wait, that's the meaning... right?
No one ever remembers this. Shout out those that do
Shout out ted!
#RESPECTTHE🍑
I definitely do
I was just singing this randomly and my coworker thought I was making it up, so I had to show him
The presidents are love
As a teen in the 90s I wasn’t a big fan of a lot of “current music” of the time. So the bands that I did really like really stand out in my mind and The P.U.S.A. are the top of that list. Love you guys
At the time I didn't like much of the new music, but now I like almost all of the rock music from back then.
Am I the only one who calls them pot usa??
@@zrob89m21 Never heard it myself
@@zrob89m21T Pot USA was always mine
I say potus 😂
Currently we are canning peaches. I had to play this song.
Jack Black sounds great in this song
One of Bowser's Favorite Songs...
This is so HD that after a quarter century I can finally read what’s written on Chris’s head!
I love how they changed it up by throwing Ninjas into the mix.
Does it make sense? Nope, but who cares!
It made us laugh.
Thanks Guys
The second I heard the peaches song in the mario movie I thought of this
holy crap that ending. pure y2k era music video vibes
A big part of my childhood/ musical taste, these guys were pure legends of the 90's man.
Woody Harrelson battling the ninjas. Awesome 🍑🍑🍑🍑
After all these years, I still get a kick out of this song 😆
Pretty much same here. No one believed in me when i told em this is a real music, so yeah had to show em this.
Peaches peaches peaches peaches peaches peaches I love you ❤😂
This will always/ever be "Peaches" for me ...I hear peaches come in a can
I hear they were also put there by a man. Possibly in a factory in the downtown area
@@TheMilkMan8008 All know is Im gonna crush them in my fist ...I put my finger down inside
Awesome! They finally remastered the "Peaches" video. I can't wait for "Lump", "Video Killed the Radio Star" and "George of the Jungle" to get the HD treatment.
This brings me back. Good times. 😊
Caught this tune on MTV Rock tune's of the 90's. Haven't heard it for years... fantastic song
The sounds the ninjas make when they get hit come from N64 Goldeneye.
That stool kick popping off the chorus changed my life. I was 9 when this song came out. I was 37 when I made that comment.
Can’t believe I couldn’t remember the name of this song but just had vague memories of the video
It’s like it all flooded back after more than 2 decades 😩
Particularly why I love this "HD" version is because I used to have a low definition version of this video off of a CD-ROM from one of their albums.
Turning 50 in three days and hadn't seen the video to this song, back then I found new music from FM radio.
One of the very few defining memes of the entire 90's. Ahead of the curve. The singular song that can produce memory flashbacks of my youth.
I'm a big Mario fan but this is the only peaches song to my ears.
On god 🙏🙏
I do wonder about the effect this song had on peach sales
PUSA routinely has a place in my Top 5 most played each year. The most consistently great band of all time, as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely love you guys.
and CAKE
Ugh both those bands are mediocre lol tf?
@@AgnosiaAgnosis with that assessment, I can only cringe at the thought of what your music taste must consist of!!! 😅😅😅 What the fuck are you even doing in this comment thread if you don't like P.U.S.A?!?!?
Billions must Peach
Bowser should have sung this, But I guess this was from an Era where Peaches was still known as Toadstool
"All We Know about the EXPANSION of SPACE & TIME is that LIFE GROWS."
This song came out the same time I was moving in to live with my wife. She lived across the lane from a peach farm. I'll never forget this song.
can't believe they used this song in the new Mario movie
Gotta be one of my favorite Bowser songs
Moving to the country gonna eat a lotta peaches 🕺 💃 🍑
First heard this song from my aunt back in the 2000’s lol
i think of this song every time I have to stock peaches lol
Super dope Rock Song!!!!
This is my childhood favorite song because my favorite fruit was peaches but we had a CD so I also loved some of their other songs, such as Candy Cigarette, Caroline's Booty, Confusion and I'm forgetting one..but I finally got my 6 year old into this song !!❤
As a peach, I can confirm this song is a banger
😂😂😂😂😅
Peachy!
I’m dead 🤣😂🤣😂
@heatherbealer8253 my condolences.
Damn core memory unlocked, I forgot this song existed.
My boyfriend and I are going to the peach festival in July in Marysville and I have this song stuck in my head. 😂
So much fun, great shots and editing! I've been fortunate enough to see PUSA 4x live. Always amazed me the sound that comes from Drums, 5 strings COMBINED on two axes, vocals and harmonies. Fun..fun..fun.....Love this band! ROK ON!
Wow. I didn’t know they had 4 songs to sing let alone seeing them in 4 actual concerts. If it wasn’t for this song, I wouldn’t know about them.
@@ashj0I’m sure there’s many amazing things that aren’t in your life
Bowser in the new Mario movie:
The fight scene at the end.... classic
Bowser ain't got nothing on this one.
This is the original Peaches. Hope Jack Black is paying attention.
this is one of my all time favorite songs about moving to the country and eating peaches
I bootlegged this off the radio on cassette before I bought the album in elementary school…. Still slaps!
The OG peach song
Sorry Bowser, these guys did it better!

When I search peaches on CZcams this is what I want
Daughter was singing the peaches song from the mario movie. I started singing this. She looked at me like I'm an alien so here I am showing her this classic
Everytime i buy a can of peaches i sing this song. Been that way since the 90s. Decided to look it up to see how much i remember. I remember every single word! Lol. Amazing!
Tell me you love weed, acid and shrooms without telling me...
I don’t, but your comment made me laugh!
I work at a school with an orchard. We are drowning in peaches at the moment and this song is on repeat inside my head
Bowser and Justin Bieiber: Am I a Joke to you?
Epic blast from the past. I was searching for a Presidents of the US song for my kids to memorize and got this childhood treat 🤣
I only knew this song for about a year from a random Spotify playlist. Wasn’t alive for the early 90s, but damn do I sure love the music from that era.
It’s not early ‘90s.
Who's still eating peaches in 2050?
For everyone here under 30... The 90's were a weird and wonderful time. No I can't explain you had to be there, but trust me you're missing out. 😂
Anyome listening in 2065?
My kids used to roll their eyes when I played this CD; Now in college--they're playing it for their friends. POTUSA are officially part of our lexicon.
Bowser approve this song!
Happy president’s day lol
Came back to this song cause of the super Mario Brothers movie
The Super Mario Bros. movie brought me here
I was watching the Jack black AI peaches song and it reminded me of this... I can't believe the remade it in hd
Quality track, awesome music video, had this on VHS tape, watched it on loop. Soooo good.
THANK YOU!! You guys are my favorite band of the 90's and one of my Top 5 Favorite bands of all-time! I absolutely wish I had gotten to see you perform when I could go do such things.
