Like how the commentators are talking about how this is such a one sided match up in Grohs favour at the beginning while Astaroth is beating the shit out him. I'm getting some cognitive dissonance looool

That's not cognitive dissonance my guy. It being in Groh's favor doesn't mean he must win. They're just explaining something that wasn't currently the case. Cognitive dissonance would be something more like thinking that Groh wins all match ups vs slow opponents while also believing that Asta wins the Groh vs Asta match up. It is two ideas that directly contradict one another within one persons mind.
Unless you mean that them saying that, put some dissonance into YOUR mind? Is that what ya meant?
Someday I hope I can be as happy as JJJ watching Groh land 2A+B online.

Shame that Astraroth kept doing the same shit. He had him in the beginning, but got predictable as fuck.
I think the point people are making is that laughing at a character/ player is unprofessional regardless if they're all friends or not. Not to mention he was only laughing at the end where LINK already adapted. But in the beginning that commentator was like "oooh, he just got caught off guard oooouh." Like those idiots that only trash talk and taunt AFTER they're winning but have no balls anytime before then. Its very obnoxious, and a total disrespect to the character, the player and anyone that plays astaroth.
