- This is the second video in a short series on using the a Router table.
I bought a replacement router and lift from Wood Workers Workshop and I wanted to give it a good testing before I review it.
Coffee Pod Drawer details if you decide to make one yourself.
(Please feel free to alter the sizes to suit your coffee addiction. đ
Outside case sizes:
300mm long
200mm wide
100mm tall
12mm thick material.
Panels sizes to start with:
1 x 420mm x 310mm x 12mm
2 x 420mm x 110mm x 12mm
1 x 420mm x 190mm x 12mm
Make sure all your pieces (above) are exactly the same thickness.
Please note there are Two sizes of the lock mitre bit, in this video I'm using the Smaller of the two.

We still call gnats a gnat⊠at least in the Southeast we do. The regional dialect of American accent and speech in the Southeast retains a tremendous amount of 17th century English vernacular and turns of phrase.
That is awesome, I just bought a locking miter bit with an HDPE setup block. After watching this video I canât wait for it to arrive. Iâve known about the locking miter but for a long time but never bought one. Thank you for producing this video.

I just bought the microjig lock miter. It is easy to setup they ground a flat on it so if you use the half lap jig. I got it perfect first try.

I bought a bit like this years ago and still have not used it. I donât have any set-up jig for it and have been too intimidated to give it a go. I've got that infinity jig. It's an awesome tool and if you make lock miter joints or are afraid to try them, get that jig. You definitely won't regret it. As usual, awesome video. Thanks.

Great video Graham, thanks. I'm about to build a shoe cubby for a customer and wanted to do more than just a simple miter. I bought a bit on Amazon and am ready to try. Your video and a couple others have been a great help with the psychological aspect as well as the physical one. This is going to be cedar end grain joints so ... Wish me luck.

Another great video Graham? However, I am rather intrigued that the Kapex (mitre-saw) has been replaced by a new radial arm cross-cut?? Also, looks like you are following the latest thinking on âend grainâ glue-ups (drawer front). Think I would have gone with dominoes, or dowels at the very least! Nonetheless, lovely âlocked mitreâ joint job! Keep up the good work.

Thanks Paul, my daughter and sister have the Nespresso coffee machine, which fits on top of this perfectly. The slightly larger other make (name escapes me) should fit as well. đ

I wonder why the drawer font and back do not use the miter lock, and instead just glue on to drawer?

so would this be applicable to making storage cabinets and drawers for the shop? if the holding strength on the glued up joint supports good weight, it might be a nice way to make some tool storage, under table drawers ⊠going to think that one through for a bit ⊠I know once the joints are glued up, thatâs that for that piece of wood, and using pocket holes makes the wood slightly more reusable but it seems like this might be even sturdier? just a thought ⊠great video as usual ⊠thanks!

So you were right, (Eagle Eyes) it was a Radial Arm Saw, but no its not new and its not a replacement. Explanation on its way. Maybe controversial. đđđą
