  • Brice Rhodes, who some call an "obscure rapper," faces trial for allegedly killing three people in Louisville, Kentucky in 2016. Two of those victims were teenagers who allegedly witnessed Rhodes shoot the first victim. In pre-trial hearings, Rhodes has often sparred with court officials, even accusing one judge of being a member of the KKK. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber breaks down everything we know so far about Brice Rhodes and what we could expect during his trial.

Every time someone says they're representing themselves, the judge gets nervous and asks them if they're sure. Ted Bundy represented himself too and though he was intelligent, he was NOT sane. People like this are all nuts. Doesn't mean they don't deserve punishment. I don't personally agree with the death penalty because our justice system is too flawed. Either we treat them as adults from thirteen on or treat them as kids until like seventeen. The government system likes treating kids as kids in simple cases but treat them as adults in serious cases. And with your logic if a minor knowingly sleeps with an adult we should treat that minor as adult right? Kids get influenced a lot especially in this modern day time where there is little family structure or no daily family influence, so would you say that a minor that chose to sleep with an adult knew what they were doing because that happens now a days or a minor that chose to commit a serious crime knew what they were doing because that happens now a days is similar because by your saying if they knew what they were doing then we should treat them all as adults.

Judge Kaelin is not simply stating an opinion. She is basing her decision on the psychological and psychiatric evaluations that have been presented to her.
Also, the death penalty is not a deterrant to violent crimes. A just sentence for Rhodes is to spend the rest of his miserable life in prison.
