Not a misconception.....cheap Android phones are vastly superior to Pro Max. Considering what you can do, not to mention iPhone users only use for tiktok, text messaging, and.....dang nothing more! Androids can do that too, and for a lot less than iPhone mediocre phones. By the way, you can make your samsung device animation even more faster by enabling the developer options by going through settings, "About phone", and then "Software information". press on Build number multiple times until it says that developer mode is enabled.
Then you can find developer options at the very bottom of settings, press it and go down until you see "Window animation scale" and "Transition animation scale" & "Animator duration scale".
Press each one and make them ".5" or you can even disable them if you want.

As an ex apple turned Galaxy user, you have a long way to go because you provided a lot of misunderstood in this video. Not purposely but because you haven't discovered it yet lol😂. Everything you said that "can't do" you actually can do. My file sharing between my PC, tablet and phone is EXTREMELY seamless. I can be 500 miles away from my PC and if I need files that are on my PC, they are just a click away. Also, I can copy and paste between devices. I love writing a huge message on my tab s9 ultra, copying it and then pasting it to my phone. Either way, I switched to Samsung a few years ago and I'm never going back to Apple. I already started with the original iPhone, then switched to the G1 and was Android/Samsung for several years. Then switched back to Apple, got stuck for a few years and then switched back to Android. I have a lot of experience with both but i prefer the freedom of Samsung Galaxy.

The one thing I have learnt from this video, is that there are long term Apple fans out there that have never experienced a top end Samsung phone, and are still living on all the misconceptions about Android phones in general. That might have been valid years ago, but are definitely now a thing of the past. The technology and innovation is so mature now, that you would really be incredibly hard pressed to fault a flagship Android phone in 2024. They very often now exceed what Apple has to offer.
You have proved this point eloquently.

One thing that a lot of CZcamsrs forget between iPhone and Samsung or iPhone and Android or Apple and Android is that Android phones come with faster charging technology.
Apple still takes 0 to 100% roughly 2 hours where most Android phones today are charging 0 to 100% in under 40 minutes
Samsung overall still takes 0 to 100% roughly 1 hour 10 mins ish. So when it comes to Samsung and overall other Android phones faster charging is one of the big key differences.

I bought a 14 pro max 18 months ago. I've had Samsung's since the beginning. S4, S5 Active, S6, S8 Active, S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and now the S24 Ultra. The iPhone has been sitting on my desk for six months, gathering dust. I bought it, keeping an open mind. First off, while setting it up, it's not customizable at all. You are forced to follow how Apple developed the phone. Their cameras were never as good as Samsungs since the beginning. Fuzzy pics and videos on Facebook or Instagram. 😵‍💫
With the 13 and 14 models they may have finally caught up, but it took them 15+ years. The only thing I noticed was that the 14 pro max transfered files and pics/videos a lot faster, but that was just about it.

I couldn't agree more on your size opinion. It was an adjustment going to my first Samsung Note, but LOVED all the features, and the kids loved the stylus to draw and color. (Those kids are now 18 and 17 btw.) When I upgraded to the Note 9, loved basically everything about it except having to adjust to an even larger phone. I have a great laptop and would consider getting a tablet, but hard to justify with phones this large already. Including my case, my 9 is over 7" diagonally so I have considered a flip or fold model. Unfortunately a contained stylus would be too important of a loss, so kind of stuck. My youngest is under 10 so definitely wouldn't consider anything that would deprive us of tic-tac-toe memories with dad that her older siblings all enjoyed or an on demand coloring book when she needs to be quietly patient at times. Great content. Subscribed!

Great video. I came from Huawei p30 pro to IP 15 pro max, and I felt like going back in time with the iOs. And some silly navigation gestures and many nonsense ways of things working in iOs are just unacceptable in 2024. IPhone is really behind. On the other side, Apple knows how to pull you in with smoother design and polished looking phone in general (iOs included). Then, I bought it due to Pro Res video capability and it’s one feature only that kept me away from Samsung S24 Ultra. Also, I wanted to try iPhone as I never was into that big bubble of ideology of having it. So, in summary, I love the way it feels to have it. On the other side, iOs makes me throw this thing out of the window and saying bad word very often which makes it useless sometimes. Then the camera saves it. But hey, how often do I use pro res? Not often, and Samsung camera is actually better in details and all in day to day videos even if it’s an AI generated detail, it looks good. So Samsung went way beyond what it was and people should wake up finally. Then at the end, it comes to the users preference so, it’s up to everyone individually what they like and choose.
One thing I’d add to it, making iPhone basic models, come on, these phones are prehistoric. 60hz in 2024? Come on. Apple just bugging

Same here, I started with the iPhone 3GS through the XR, also I was a twenty-two-plus-year Apple user, Apple only Apple everything. In 2020 switched to the Samsung Note 20; it remains my EDC still rocking this Note 20. You are correct about Apple taking their time implementing things. It was not they do it better it was they had the marketing team saying they did it better. As you mentioned it took the EU pulling Apple kicking and screaming to using USB-C. Also, the same with RCS messaging, which is a standard, Apple will now implement it into their OS. As for messaging, for years Apple screwed over Android messaging all to maintain their users within their walled garden. Google, Microsoft, and Samsung, all have outstanding ecosystems as well, and outstanding interoperable with every other device and manufacture, but Apple deliberately continues to not work as well with other devices. Apple is all marketing for that I can give them tremendous credit. How they treat others is unconscionable. Disclaimer: I own plenty of Apple stock, yet I will not purchase another Apple product.
WOW, I was amazed, to this day my Note 20 beats any iPhone I have seen. DeX is an outstanding feature which I use quite often. When my MBP gave up the ghost it was DeX to the rescue connected the Note 20 to my VIZO TV on my desk, never missed a beat. A few weeks later I switched back to Windows. My computing world opened, lack of compromises, and it is wonderful being out of Apple's walled garden, and their bullying. It is one of those experiences many do not notice until they leave Apple. Now, looking at the latest and greatest iPhone they all look quite boring next to Samsung, Google Pixel, OnePlus. In China the iPhone is quickly losing steam, at one time it had a cult like following, now they too see the iPhone as boring. Reports show their own cell phone camera put the iPhone to shame, and their phones have stronger and more features than iPhone. On a side note, Apple iPhone worldwide market share last quarter dropped to less than 18%.

Both Iphone and Samsung Galaxy is excellent phones. They differs a bit in features and ecosystems and so on. But it all comes to personal preferences, what you want from your phone. There is many great Android phones out there, but there also is many not so good Android phones. So you may need to do some research before buying an Android phone since it might not be as good as expected, or miss out on something you wanted. But, when you go to flagship level Androids they are generally very good and got you covered where you need it. When it comes to video, Apple’s social media apps(ie instagram, snapchat, tiktok etc) benefit from deeper integration with Apple’s camera technology, since developers only need to optimize for a single platform. This allows for better video processing and color accuracy. In contrast, Android apps often rely on more generic video processing because developers have to account for a wide range of hardware from different manufacturers. As a result, it’s challenging for them to optimize the video capture experience across all devices, leading to less consistent results.
Google should implement improved color science at a deeper system level that all Android manufacturers can utilize, rather than leaving it to each manufacturer to handle within their proprietary camera apps. This would create a more consistent experience across devices, as currently, each manufacturer’s camera app produces different results, even when using the same camera sensors, due to variations in their individual processing approaches.

Way back in the day when I purchased one of my first Samsung Galaxy Notes I compared it with the latest iPhone at the time and the Galaxy's specs were so much better. I did the same thing everytime I upgraded my phone and just so you know who the clear winner was every single time - Samsung. I have never owned an iPhone because I wanted the best, and the best back in the day was the Galaxy Note which has now been discontinued and is now called the Galaxy Ultra. It's the same phone in my honest opinion, just with a different name. I find that people who buy apple phones just do so to follow the crowd. These people don't do their research first and pay the price with an inferior product. Lol nah dude. When I go to a store and I hold a samsung vs apple the apple device always feels like higher quality. And there’s nothing else that makes a Samsung “better” they’re fucking phones lol.

Microsoft OneNote is a fantastic alternative to apple notes app. Samsung nots also syncs but only across samsung devices (laptop, tablet, phone) because it is natively a pen input app.
PS: Did you know all versions of samsung S pen work across ALL samsung devices; laptop included?

My first and last Android phone was S9 Plus. I got it while having iPhone X (carried 2 phones at that time) because I'd been wanted to try Samsung/Android and I could confirm the misconception about it being slowed down was not misconception back then! It actually slowed down throughout each update compare to iPhone X (bought first day available). iPhone X barely slowed down, while S9 Plus started to be extremely laggy year 2. S9 Plus battery needed to be replaced after less than a year too even though it was not used that hard since I had 2 phones so average time used were shared. It's 2024 and iPhone X battery still hasn't been replaced even once.
Don't get me wrong though. I'm not an Apple Fan boy. I'm sure S24 Ultra, Pixel 9 Pro, Z Flip 6, and so on are incredible phones now. Technology evolves every day and I love all tech stuff. I'd still like to try Android again one day, but my Android experience in 2018 led me to be too far deep in Apple ecosystem and switching now would cost too much money and time consuming and I think this applies to a lot of people throughout the years.

here with an S22 Ultra and it's just as snappy as it was fresh out of the box
can't say the same for budget and mid-range phones
but for apple users used to paying flagship prices, getting a flagship samsung is the only right move

I was an Iphone user until about the 6. Got sick of having a perfectly good phone lagging and drained of battery half way through the day. Bought a S7 edge and replaced it with a Note 10+. Great phone! Had it for over 4 years of heavy use. I could still get a full day on 1 charge. The only reason I traded it in was because of abuse on my part and Samsung gave me $400 bucks on trade it on preorder for the S24 ultra.

I drive a bike a lot, is S24 Ultra a good device for me 🤔? It's a big device right.. I wear slim fit jeans every time... Any suggestions? shall I buy a compact device like Pixel 9 / iphone 15.. or shall I go for S24 ultra..

Regarding notes you can use a bookmark of icloud notes, so no need to send them/duplicate. I am also considering fully switching to android. Thanks for the great video!!
