Dr. Constant Ikokwu is my crush!
I smiled whenever I saw her on a tv show. The way she talks is lovely and admiring.

Who is going to monitor how a local government chairman spends council funds?

If the Local government council Chairmen are not properly guided and clear cut projects maped out as demanded by their people, we will end up breading new set of billionaires because some of them leave cities and only appear at the local council month to receive the monthly allocation and disappear.

I think this is good but it wld give local government chairmen opportunity for misappropriation of funds more than when the governor's supervise them.... Corruption at d local government level would be something else😢

Is it not better when the money is looted by 774 persons without immunity that you can easily trace to their different houses than governors who have high level immunity till after their tenure elapses and also workabout with heavy security guards.
So however you look at it, it is way better than when the governors are incharge

@@tunchib5343 u right, but it's not that easy as you said it sir. But I also think personally it would make the local government chairmen more arrogant and lack of proper supervision from the state and federal government.
This idea is infact a very good one but personally I think it would cause disaster soon let's just wait and see the outcome.

Hand go quickly touch LG representative if money is stolen

  • @nibiruwatchchanelandextrem3599

I think the assumption that local government chairmen will give up there allocations to the governors is baseless because they will be held solely responsible for any misappropriation or embezzlement of Local Government founds.
