First saw Yas playing with Mammoth while they supported Haken on a US Tour, was immediately a fan. Monster player on Bass and Guitar!
It would be nice if the backtrack was turned waaayyyyyyyyy down and the live playing was turned up enough to clearly distinguish it from the track. Right now this is basically just a music video. I already know the song, I'm just here to see/hear the live playing

100% agree. I think it comes down to... this is marketing, not education/ passion (from the producer's perspective, not the player's, the player is clearly present and enjoying it, the producer is on a different level focused more on money)
