I went on this voyage with a sea kayak last Spring (2021). I recall spending more time portaging than kayaking. I was really lucky to go in April and have nothing but sunshine. A fantastic trip.

I think it depends on the season you go in to how much portaging vs paddling!

I just finished the one week 116km Bowron Lake circuit w. 10.8km portages. It was one of the most epic adventures I’ve ever done - very challenging and physically demanding but the rewards are great. Now I am researching about my next adventure and “the Sayward circuit”looks like a piece of cake to me.

Like your video! Awesome to share time with family and friends in such a way. Using those wheels to portage looks cumbersome to me. A great many parks forbit their use... Even if they did, terrain often doesn't allow for use of wheels. And personally, I really wouldn't want to look at them sitting in center of my canoe.

In my 32 years growing up on the island I’ve never seen a grizzly bear on the island, I’ve heard they can swim over from the mainland but it’s so rare. When we are up northern bc - kitimat area we would always have a shot gun. But on the island we don’t - I’ve never carried bear spray because I personally feel like often it can just enrage the bear. On this trip we have never seen a bear usually farther north island we see them!

2 chronicles 7 14 says if My people humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways I will hear them from heaven and heal their land.
People need to repent, be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleaned of sin, to live how He said and He dwells in the temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He's worthy of everything He said and paid for so I implore you to do as God said. If you love me you will obey me. Praise God thank you Jesus in Jesus name 🙏💕 🔥🕊️
