Try the beach at Tofino. Whales come up turn over and rub against the rocks on the Ocean floor. Like a good back rub

I would so love to meet you as looking for new friends to camp with. I have a walker as I have a disability which I also have a camping form that allows me and who ever is with me to camp for free in any BC Provincial Campground. I live in Victoria BC

I just finished the one week 116km Bowron Lake circuit w. 10.8km portages. It was one of the most epic adventures I’ve ever done - very challenging and physically demanding but the rewards are great. Now I am researching about my next adventure and “the Sayward circuit”looks like a piece of cake to me.

Are there lots of grizzly bears around there? Being from Michigan, they scare the shit out of me!

We live on the Island and this is a main go-to spot especially in the winter as it's close to the highway. Recently they have removed the "toad crossing" signage, so I'm not entirely sure why, but it really is important to be careful from July to August when the water to land migration occurs. Thanks for sharing one of our favorite spots.
