Thanks for making the video. I was stranded at a rest stop during a family vacation. My car wouldn't start, the blue LED started to blink, and i didn't notice that before. Car got towed to a nearest dealership and didn't want to troubleshoot it. After your video, i was able to bypass the starter cutoff. Spliced the wires and twisted them together, and my car was able to start. POS KARR system. Thanks.
heres my story, bought truck alarm went off when we were on test drive brought it home anyway. 3 years later left me stranded several times. have to get it removed somehow i found this video so i will follow it. but, i have some questions if i may, will i need new wires or can i crimp cap the ones that are tied to truck wiring. like say my ignition is full of connections should i just get new ignition wires and such
I just had to reconnect the wires. Depending on how it was installed, you may or may not have to graft in some length of wires but I'd be surprised if you did.
Got a 2016 Civic LX had the same exact harness. I’ve removed the entire thing and rejoined the manufacturer power wire back together but I’m still stuck at 5:38. Lights come on but won’t even crank. Any idea what could be missing? I would appreciate any ideas.
Check the battery. Check the battery posts and terminals. Clean off any corrosion. Try jumping it or charging the battery with an external battery charger.
Cleaned them up with a small steel brush.Car battery reads 12.51 V by itself. But no luck. I’m beginning to think this is a programming issue or electrical issue.I had a new key programmed when the KARR harness was installed, then I took it off. Not sure if this could be a problem for the key programming.
@abrahamrobledo9682 I was having similar issues and my battery voltage was good also. I put a new battery in it and cleaned the terminals and it hasn't done it since. I have also heard of the alternator causing a similar concern.

You're very welcome! I'm glad it worked out for you.
Thank you for making this video!! I have wanted to remove this after market gimmick for years! Just did it and it was exactly like this video.
You're very welcome!
Removed it from a 2014 Toyota. Pretty easy. Remove all jumpers and rejoin the cut main power wire together

Cut and join , some alarm fitters just dont care ...
Especially Honda dealerships.
Did this fix the issue
I did for a while. Then I replaced the module under the dash. That fixed it again. I forget the part number.
@thefriendlyneighborhoodtec3727 which module did you replace?
