- Here are some vids to show how effective Wilhelm can be as a solo player. He is the most flexible of the characters when it comes to weapons and play style and can easily handle normal and true vault hunter mode

I played Mechromancer in Borderlands 2 because I thought I would be playing solo. Turns out, I have a friend that thought the same. By the time we played together, we were rocking two Deathtraps.
The same thing happened in Pre-Sequel lol. We both picked Wilhelm

Really helped me out in July 2019. I have a level 70 Wilhelm that I haven't played in years. Thought I would go through the game again and recap the story before Borderlands 3 comes out

Really love your voice! Super smooth and calming. Gonna start with Wilhelm today and this looks pretty much like the sort of thing I was gonna go for. Love all three of his trees tbh. Wanna try a build like this first, but I might try a robo build too at some point.

I just started tvhm with wilhelm. All center tree and I got to bosun. I couldnt kill him. Your build allowed me to kill him in one special. Thank you very much for this video. It helped me very much and I'm having more fun with Wilhelm!
When I first read his skill trees I was confused because he did seem best to go a hybrid build than any full build.... I'm glad it's not just me who seen it that way.
Termination Protocols in my opinion is the best skill because it makes you practically unkillable, just like Krieg's fight for your life skill

What I found with the scramble skill is that when wolf dies and you get a new one your rolling thunder stacks reset back to zero which is kind of annoying but oh well

Keep them coming, I'd enjoy if you'd record your whole day of playing, and shrink it to maybe an hour of highlights of just random kills and loot inspection etc xD. Hmm, nice idea. I am going to go through the nice uniques first as they are just as valuable as most of the legendaries in my opinion, and much easier to obtain
Just a note, cold war is a x% chance when you deal out an elemental effect. You shock them, they have an x% chance to also be frozen
I used the dreadnought skill tree and basically became immortal
for the com, what would your opinion be on a blue rarity with +6 rolling thunder and +5 suppression? Since venom bolts would do less damage to flesh enemies.
Welcome to the guns how is a very powerful skill, maxed out and with a class mod that adds 6 or more points to it, your looking at about 35% more EVERYTHING, Damage,reload speed, fire rate, etc. The cannon is neat and causes burn DoT damage and the skill with the breaking shield allows you to regen your shield and become literally immortal for a few seconds when about to get down. Termination protocols is worth getting but it looses convenience as you advance trough the game modes, Its a great video, but investing in cyber commando (at least maxing out WelcomeTTGS) is useful in my OP.
I myself prefer the cyber commando skill combined with dreadnought, the shield and the heart skill makes you nearly un killable. But i will try out this setup, good video!
My spec too,it's fucking awesome in Co-Op but you still do a good amount of damage.
I want to make Cold War work. Derchlands did testing. At testing range, he Threw a shock AoE grenade and shot with a laser, and the cryo procced seldomly. So I know it’s a challenge for sure. I’d just love to make it good.

There is no love for Cyber Commando Tree it makes me so sad. Honestly if you use it right it’s stronger than both trees.
Just imagine Running and Gunning with a cryo gun (Preferably Too Scoops cuz that’s my favorite gun) you freeze an enemy and punch them in the head and then they blow up instantly. Since you jumped in you lose your shield and since you have your trusty nova shield everyone blows up and then your cannon appears on your back and blow up all the frozen enemies from your Too Scoop and your Cryo Oz kit and then a hailstone kraggon Jumps in but by accident you blew him up with your cannon before he even attacked and you laugh at him with a robotic voice.

This is what I’m talking about. Wilhelm inspires interesting combat scenarios. I like imagining how I’ll use all the tools, too.
glad other people realize the potential here, only criticism is 25% crit damage is like two to three times better than 15% damage. also cold war only has a chance to proc once, when they first get the dot.
People do seem to like cold war as a skill, but it just didn't work well for me. Early on in TVHM, I got a high % chance to shock SMG, and thought with cold war it would be like a slagga from bl2, but even though I was electrocuting guys all over the place, cold war rarely seemed to proc. Might just be me though.
And re escalation over fire support, you're probably right about that. I might have to try that.
Does Rescalation work for Wolf though? Fire support states it increases Wolfs dmg but Rescalation only says your crit dmg.

Athena is pretty much the only character that can build for melee

Stan Marsh Salvador is the best character.Axton is the worst.
Stan Marsh zero is good too, if you like melee or sniper characters.
He's not the worst character. Axton is used for speedrunning a lot.
I think Krieg works well. I go mania/bloodlust and health stack wwith him. DR shield/ blood of the ancients relic/ legendary sickle com and grenade is your choice, I'd say to use a low level slag bonnie. With weapons, go with a norfleet for second winding, a slag pimpernel and the other 2 are your choice. Hope this helps.

I'd say the only reason people aren't fond of him is because as a character, he can be quite boring to play [the other characters action skills are fundamentally more interesting] but I've still seen a crazy amount of people playing as him just for the DPS.
Your right, that's why I made nisha before making Wilhelm but I've made him and he's lvl 49 and he's so much more fun to play with

i didnt know where to put this or ask so ill ask you guys doesnt anyone else find it strange that in bl2 wilhelm is a big black guy with a little head you can see him close up after you kill him you can even see the human part of his body and it looks NOTHING loke this guy what is the deal with this arent they supposed to be the same guy

Is it just me that didn't like the look of Wilhelm (I played as him because I liked his skills and that) I just don't like his hair, face, beard and that retinal enhancement for his right eye

+Kanavus but he does look better in the pre sequel than he did in borderlands 2
+Liam Mcpake Oh yeah, his hair was pretty ridiculous. I always used Star Hawk
+Kanavus I only played as him because of his skills and his really unique upgrades. Like one of them replaces his left/right arm with a cybernetic one
