  • The 18th film shown on Mystery Science Theater 3000 was the 1958 propaganda espionage/science fiction film, Rocket Attack U.S.A. Directed by Barry Mahon, this movie stars Monica Davis, John McKay, Daniel Kern, Edward Czerniuk, Phillip St. George, and others.
This film is the story of an American secret agent who tries to stop the Soviets from launching an intercontinental missile at the mainland United States. We can’t let this be the end!
The film was shown on MST3K on October 27, 1990. Enjoy! I did!

Some of your comments make me laugh out loud. Saw this movie on MST long time ago and I don't know what it is but I really enjoyed the movie itself. Hope you enjoy your week off. Would love to see you. Do some more shows on actors and actresses like you did on some of the very obscure ones on the past like Wanda McKay. Can I tell you how much your show means. Thank you

Thank you so very much. I love doing these videos and it is so wonderful when I hear that others enjoy them. I've got two doc in the works right now. I am going one on Keefe Brasselle and that should be done is a couple of weeks, After that, Virginia Weidler.

I always think that "actors" who repeatedly work in films like these they are just doing it for a paycheck. I don't hold that against them. We all have to pay the bills. On the other had I don't fell bad for their reviews. Oh no! No show! Yikes. We will miss you.

I never blame an actor for taking work. You have to do what you have to do. But in the case of Rocket Attack USA, I have doubts that most were actually actors.

Great review of another awful movie!
If you are indeed going to do a "weird comments" episode next week, please consider this one: One of my pet peeves is people slurping. You begin each episode drinking coffee, and sometimes you do it close enough to the mic that your slurps come across on the audio. I cringe when it happens (but then enjoy the rest of the clip). So my request would be that, if you must take a sip during your commentary, lean way back from the mic! (For the record - you did not slurp in this ep!)
I say all this, fully aware that you might instead decide to *emphasize* the slurp going forward, just to screw with me. But it's a chance I had to take! 😄

WOW! Thank. you sir! I've done two documentaries on Coleman Francis and would love to hear any story you have about their working relationship! I think I have a thousand questions. Coleman is one of my fascinations, and I've also considered researching Mr. Cardoza. Let me get my thoughts together and I'll get back to you. If you would rather communicate through email, I'm at coffeewithjeff@gmail.com. If you'd rather do it this way, that is great as well. Thanks so much. Jeff
