A game mode with a freeze on villager production after a set time might be fun as a novelty (like, after 30 mins you can make no new villagers), with the right settings (maybe a small map with pop cap or something?) Also, a lumber camp next to the castle would have been huge, probably easily worth postponing the first monk - not only for the wood, but also because it would be possible switch vils between that and the gold and the position of the castle would make it very clunky for the conqs to try to camp / snipe both, and if they split than one group would be smaller than daut`s group
Cool game, but I don’t understand why not buy wood, make some fishing ships and get his Eco back up? Was a joke he lost those 4 vills that went for wood with 0 conversions, what a joje
