- Though the new #badboysrideordie is expected to win the weekend easily, the amount projected still indicates massive problems for the 2024 summer #boxoffice where flops abound and even the prospect of breaking even becomes a rarity #badboys #willsmith #boxofficepreview #boxofficebreakdown

In my Scott Steiner voice: You see the numbers don’t lie, and they spell disaster for Bad Boys: Ride or Die!
You still have time to delete this skewed horrible video....after a $56 Million Opening
😂😂 Get him. @@jwiggins1112
A four movie franchise based on the theme song from a reality TV show from the 80s/90s. That's the most Hollywood thing ever.
I honestly don’t think it’ll flop. $50m domestic opening should be fine for this as long as the international numbers aren’t complete trash.
I went to an early screening last night and the audience I was with absolutely loved it. Tons of laughter and even applause at certain moments and at the end which made for a very fun theater experience. I think it should have strong legs, especially since there’s really no direct competition from movies that cater to the same demographic.
I havent heard sh*t about this movie. Like i thought it was in development....had no idea it had been filmed and was being released. I also don't watch TV anymore so.....I havent seen any trailers
Nobody going to see that new bad boy movies. Will Smith is done... 😂😂
Think u might be surprised.
It's not gonna be some "mega-hit"
but it'll at least do reasonably well. He didn't do anything the avg moviegoer can't get over, & I saw the movie last nite, if ya like buddy-cop action comedies it gives u exactly what u like. Their chemistry is still great too.
It's definitely not gonna break any records lol, the entire season so far is underperforming, it's not gonna do worse than those and might even do better.
Yeah this aged well 😂…50+ million opening - 97% audience score buddy…he may be done for you but he still has a fan base 👍🏾 My theatre was packed, loud and loved it
@@DGA_Kenyon 56 million dollar block buster summer opening 😂😂😂🤡
You still have time to delete this comment. Best Rated R opening since Oppenheimer & a 100 Million Global Weekend Release! Just because bigots like yourself didn't see it. Millions did & loved it. Cry more 😂😂😂😂😂
Will Smith may be done for some people …but the results will show his fan base is still strong…right now BB4 is at 53+ million for the weekend. Aside from a couple of outliers (Wild West/After Earth) - Will Smith’s track record during the summer has been consistently successful
In my opinion, Lethal Weapon 1 and 2 >>>>>>>>>>>> Bad Boys movies.
I love those first two Lethal Weapon movies
this movies already making lots of money
Sure
I agree, the slap won't affect the numbers. I don't think people are talking enough about the economy. Going to the movies is a treat. And besides the cost of living and the cost of tickets, it's a further trip for a lot of people. There used to be way more theaters when I was growing up. It's going to be harder to get people to the theaters going forward.
I remember a time when Will Smith's name alone got butts in seats. Can't say the general public really cares about him nowadays, though.
Just another Thug commiting Black on Black Violence.
what's Crazy is Bad Boys For (4) Life wasn't the Fourth film 😆 that was a huge oversight... but that was one of the few big films of 2020 before Covid destroyed everything
no I was done with anything will smith long ago but especially after his disrespect for Chris rock. he can go screw
I won't be seeing Bad Boys: Ride or Die, primarily because I saw the first film at the cinema and thought it was meh at best. Not averse to Will Smith films (I liked him in Independence Day and I: Robot), just not these ones. I'll probably go to see Deadpool 3, but that's probably it for this year unless a 'sleeper' film appears out of nowhere. Too expensive these to waste my time and money on, at best, very average stuff.
Same here. I wasn’t crazy about the first movie either.
"You ain't seen Bad Boys 2?!!"
@@richmlvcable I have seen it. It was better than 1 but nothing amazing to me
You've obviously not seen Hot Fuzz tho 😆
@@richmlvcable I have. Hot Fuzz is amazing. What does that have to do with the Bad Boys movies?? Hot Fuzz is a much better film than both of the first two BB movies in my opinion.
Oh I'm so excitable about going to that cuks new movie. So pumped.
It’s silly to think Will Smith would sell tickets following his aisle on Chris Rock. People have lost of respect for him-also because of After Earth.
Lawrence could, but it’s been a loonnnng time since he’s done anything.
We need to discuss the Sub-Saharan slave trade with Will. He can send his wife there
In my Scott Steiner voice: You see the numbers don’t lie, and they spell disaster for Bad Boys: Ride or Die!
Numbers don't lie...but Bigots do. 56 Million Opening
As a Bad Boy fan, this fourth adaptation is extremely ridiculous, especially with the message from the grave storyline that they got going... Hell, the third Bad Boys was extremely goofy when they tried incorporating witchcraft into Mike Lowrey's character... But let me watch my mouth, don't want The Prince Of Bel-Air to bitch slap my face.
It's typical buddy cop action comedy fare, their chemistry felt like comfort food after the first 10min, what ur referring to wasn't an issue for me.
@@TEST-uz4pm Good for you, but when compared to the first 2, the last two are trash.
Trust me Odin, the next Deadpool will do a billion, the next Lizard slaps Monkey will do great too, next Mario Bross movie (bring 'm aaaallll in) and so on. It will be an eternal merry-go-around for the themepark crowd.
But cinema is dead for the rest of us. Has been for years. Who knows one day the self-declared rebels will listen to the other part of Ricky Gervais' monologue at the Golden Globes. Will never happen though (better to pretend it doesn' t exist, brave and stunning and all that) Looking into the mirror brrrrrr Very scary
Wont see it as i respect chris Rock and was brought up with principles and morals.
Unfortunately Will Smith slap has lessen my enthusiasm for this movie. I like Martin Lawrence though.
Who wants to see Will Smith? 🤢
