    • @simonhilling
      @simonhilling Před 5 lety

      In case you're still struggling to get Flip Fluids working in 2.8, try the following:
      Check the box to render in full screen view and also check the 'Lock Interface' option in the same drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
      Sounds weird but this worked for me after I saw the suggestions online. Could barely get 1 frame to render before that. Now, all seems well:-) Good luck!

    @herculhesebol3237 Před 4 lety

    Hi bro! Im a beginner. I have a question if you dont mind. How do you edit your turbulance from o to 300 then 300 to 0? Thanks a bunch! 😄😄

    • @K1FFVFX
      @K1FFVFX  Před 4 lety

      Go to the frame you want the strength to start animating on, so it's about frame 32 in this tutorial. Change the Strength to 0. Hover the mouse over the Strength property and press "i" to insert a keyframe. Or right click on the Strength property and select "Insert Keyframe". Then move to frame 37 and change the Strength to 300, and either right click on the Strength property and choose "Insert Keyframe" or just hover the mouse over the property and press "i". Then just do this again at frame 102, insert keyframe, then go to frame 106 and set the Strength to 0 and insert a keyframe

    • @StarBoySammy
      @StarBoySammy Před 3 lety

      @@K1FFVFX you did a really good job at explaining it all, i think just in newer versions of blender, all these things seem to work differently, forcefields now effect water sims, and the drag and turbulence do not work the same as they did in your version of blender back then

    I noticed that you didn't do anything else to your 3D head when you designated it as an obstacle in flip fluids... yet, your 3D head was interacting with the fluid. I did the same thing as you and my 3D mesh won't interact with the fluid at all. I even made sure to click on "export 3D animated mesh because my mesh is animated... it still isn't working. I don't know what I have done wrong?
