Absolutely! Fire is nothing but a slight, local, increase in temperature. Nothing to worry about, especially if near the gas tank :D

BEAMNG NEWS episode 68
Top story: The McJohn brothers and Sheriff Bat Dummieson were waiting for Darkstig to come to Los Injurus, so they can fight him. They were waiting for the whole Friday, but he was still nowhere to be seen! Then in the middle of the night, they recieved a report of a remotely controlled supercar going over the speed limit on the main highway in Utah. That area is still dangerous due to radioactivity after the nuclear explosion, so the car wasn't really bothering anyone there because nobody lives there. But one detail caught Sheriff's attention: the car had Darkstig's license plate! Whatever Darkstig was up to, he had to be stopped, so the cops agreed that Sheriff will go chasing the supercar, while the brothers will keep waiting for Darkstig himself to show up. Sheriff Bat Dummieson took the fastest car available - a Civetta Bolide with a massive supercharger - and went to chase the supercar. He couldn't enter Utah because of radiation, so he stopped before the interstate road and started controlling his car remotely. He found the supercar close to a tunnel that ends the main highway. His car was a bit faster as it turned out, the Bolide is also technically a supercar after all, just an outdated one! As the cars entered the tunnel, Sheriff tried to block the supercar's way, but the weird shape of it made it so it flipped the Bolide upside down! Fortunately, there was deputy Felipe in the same tunnel, he was taking a shortcut through Utah despite the dangers of radiation! When he saw the supercar, he started chasing it, but couldn't catch up with it at first. But then, its remote control system started malfunctioning (probably because they were in a tunnel), and it started slowing down! Deputy Felipe hit it with his car and immobilised it! Then, he drove to Sheriff's car and put it back on wheels, drove to the interstate road with it, then Sheriff Bat Dummieson got inside it and they both started driving to Los Injurus, hoping it's not too late to stop Darkstig.
In other news (continuation): Meanwhile, deputy McSpeed finally arrived close to Los Injurus, and he saw Darkstig driving towards the city! The villain was driving a really fast truck equipped with a tanker upfit filled with propane, and a ram plow! It was obvious what he was about to do: He wanted to crash into the Police Headquarters and blow it up!! What's worse, there still were innocent dummies there, these who had to leave Utah because of radiation! Deputy McSpeed had to stop Darkstig at all costs! Luckily, he was not alone: When he was in Italy, he met 2 nice dummies who wanted to be cops, and they even somehow had real police cars! (They probably repaired some wrecked ones, Italy is full of them.) He borrowed one, and they all drove to Los Injurus. Now, all 3 were chasing Darkstig. Infortunately, McSpeed was the only one of them who knew how to drive properly, and both of his new friends crashed. He tried to stop the truck alone, but after a few hits his steering broke and he couldn't continue the chase. He did manage to force Darkstig to go in another direction, so the villain was no longer going towards the city. He could take a few turns to return on his way, but it did slow him down. Luckily, not too far away, there was deputy Wreckmeister in his Fiat 126p! He decided to fix it instead of driving a Piccolina from Italy, and the car is not as low as it may seem, it has an experimental super sport engine and race wheels, it even does wheelies! He damaged Darkstig's fuel tank a bit, but didn't break it. Not too far away, deputy O'Cliff set a road block for Darkstig's truck. When it failed to stop it, he started chasing it, but after a few hits, his truck got stuck between a wheel and a tanker upfit of Darkstig's vehicle! Luckily, the McJohn brothers were already aware of Darkstig's truck, and Lane was already catching up with it. When he got close, he used his machine gun to blow the truck up! Darkstig's plan was ruined, but the chase wasn't over: the villain got out of the truck, stole a nearby taco van and started escaping towards Mexico! Deputy Felipe arrived nearby and started chasing him and hit the van several times, before his car ran out of fuel (it went all the way from Italy through Utah to Los Injurus, so it was not surprising). Then, deputy Wreckmeister got into his spare Fiat Uno that happened to be still parked nearby after the last chase, and had been repaired by local police supporters, and he started chasing the van too. Luckily for the deputy, it turned out that the car had also been upgraded with a tuned supercharger, now making around 800 HP! The wheels were still normal though, so it was not really controllable. It started burning after hitting the van a few times, but could still drive. It got in front of the van and started pushing it back, but the van was winning because it had better wheels! Meanwhile, deputy Kevin arrived next to deputy Felipe's car, and he was exhausted because of the long hard journey from Cadort Island, so deputy Felipe took his car and continued the chase. The car still had a lot of fuel left, so the deputy could catch Darkstig and crash into his van! The crash was so big that Wreckmeister's car exploded, putting the van on fire, and the engine of Kevin's car broke. Darkstig got out of the van and escaped, but at least not to Mexico, so the chase was a success! Another success was saving a lot of innocent dummies in Los Injurus!
Police announcement: Those who live in the center area of Los Injurus can now go back home, the battle is over! We won!! All deputies are back, expect frequent patrols to be back on the streets by Tuesday! That was exhausting, I need to go to sleep now.
