I believe the truck was hit by lightning but I can assure you those weld dots ARE NOT from the lightning.
There's no mistaking it where it strikes because the whole body is burned with a 8in+ hole.
That look's more like MIG or TIG welds to add realism, dramatic effect.

@@UQRXD Isn't it Zeus that tosses lightening bolts? 😇 I was referring to the clause in most insurance policies that deny coverage for "Acts of God". Always gotta have an out to keep from paying!

@@Jeff-xy7fv Damned if I know. I can only think because they are specifically called out they are covered. If the policy didn't specifically mention them, they probably wouldn't be covered. Most of the text of an insurance policy is IF's BUT's EXCEPT's etc. I really don't think they want you to understand them. My homeowner's policy if 32 pages of legalese.

When lightening is possible, you're supposed to safely park and stay in the vehicle. *Avoid touching any metal on the car, like the door frame.* Keep your hands in your lap. Don't even touch the steering wheel.
