I wonder what this means for Junior's character. I know he's going to be on Grownish some this season. Hopefully he'll do both. I really like his character.
yagerzero I think he doesn’t approve of how fast they are moving. They basically live together. Also it may seem to him that her priorities aren’t focused on school
Marcus (actor that plays Junior) is going off to college in the fall, so I guess this was his farewell 😢. His status on the show will most likely change from 'season regular' to 'special appearances'. Taking the Migos job will explain why we'll no longer see him at the Steven & Lido office, and moving in with Zion will explain why he is absent from the Johnson residence.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Junior deserved a spin off more than Zoey. His character is the funniest and most unique out of the entire cast. It would’ve been great to see him on his own
Maribel Z. I started to think about it maybe he’s house sitting while the family’s on vacation and Zoey wanted a place to crash for spring break and coerced him into it.
@@maribelz.7306 Yeah. When did that happen? I've all the episodes except the last one. It was great to see Zoey again! It seemed like she was no longer a part of the family! They even gave away her room (until "Kat" came to get his daughter)! In my opinion, you don't give away a child's room just because they are away at college or have joined the military, or are doing something else temporary. Until they have their own apartment or house, home is still home.
Fyi "Drank" is soda (usually grape) mixed Perscription cough syrup and jolly rancher usually served in a white styrofoam cup. Popular with the rap genre and also knows as "lean" or "Syzrup"
I get that college isn’t for everyone, but it just seems like huge waste of Juniors character and an excuse to keep him on the show for long. If anything they could of just have him go to the same college as Zoey, just saying.
The point of this episode is to show that it’s OK not to go the college route Juniors Dad is a marketer you don’t need to go to college to do that in a millennial age You just need to know your consumer and your product
Next spinoff show, Junior-ish, the story of Junior being a man and falling for his roommate/ co-worker, I’ll make it Disney just give me the green light
I’m kind of going through this now. I was a straight A student in high school & had my heart set on going to college after graduation. My father wanted me to join the military instead & cut me off financially when I decided against it. I was able to get my associates degree using student loans/grants but ultimately had to join the military because tuition was so expensive. I’ve been serving 5 years now & am thankful for the special opportunities that it brings. However, my work obligations have made it difficult to finish school as quickly as I was when I was a full time student & I still don’t have my bachelors degree. I feel stuck & without options. I’m not living the life that I wanted & sometimes get depressed. I don’t like my daily duties but have no control or say so. My life is no longer mines. I feel bullied/guilted into this career by my father & I resent him a little.
None hey just curious as to why you resent your father? Because it seems like he cut you off but you still chose to do the things he wanted you to do, but by your own choice. Just wondering.
None okay never mind. I reread. It’s weird that a parent would prefer their child to go to the Military instead of college. I’m sorry you didn’t have a choice. I hope you win in the end. Much success and blessings to you.
Junior had so much and he threw everything he had in the garbage like it was trash. I just don’t get it so many would kill for the opportunities he has had and he acts like he is too good for all that he has. It just makes me so mad. He use to be this sweet smart kid. I can not believe how he treated his parents who had to work so hard for so long to give him all these choices and he then turns around and tells them that he is better than them and doesn’t need them when he clearly does. #teambow.
This to me is like when the powers that be decided, out of the blue, that Bow and Dre' should be having marital problems and all of a sudden, they are having stupid fights and Dre' moved out. It didn't last long, however. Bow needed Dre' when her father died and Dre' was there for her and they reconciled and all has been happily ever after in the marriage since then, just like it was before. Except for the episode at work where Jr. decided to challenge Dre', this moving out on his own (during his "gap year") comes as a surprise to me. He hardly seems ready. But then, the bit about "dad kicking in for an air conditioner" says a lot about his mindset. When you've never had to work for anything and everything you could want has always been made available to you, you have no real appreciation for things others have worked for.
Not really that's what the daughter did by letting her dad pay for everything and then deciding to party instead of studying to the point where she's on academic probation. If you aren't sure about college don't go, he's just trying to figure things out. He can always change his mind, lot of people do a gap year and it helps them focus on a career for when they do go to college.
There’s so many other pathways besides college all they preach in high school is college being a necessity when it really isn’t there’s a lot of careers out there where you don’t need college and to think that college is for everyone is insane
I'm glad that Dre and Bow decided to step back and let Junior find his own path. Who's to say that he won't eventually end up going back to school? My older brother went through the exact same thing... all his life, our parents hammered into him that he HAD to go to college but he wanted to do something with his music. He wound up dropping out about a half semester short of completing his freshman year and they completely cut him off. He kicked around New Orleans, L.A. and Seattle for a few years in pursuit of his music and decided to go back to school at 24 years old. He got his M.A. and is now a music professor at a small college in Texas. So sometimes you just gotta give your kids time to find their own way!
I hope he joins the cast of grownish because ole boy is hilarious
He is on the season premiere of grownish!!! I hope he stays!!
That show is 🗑
Juliana Noelle Jones naw they need him on both someway somehow or just black ish bc grown ish will not last

I wouldn’t actually mind a spin off with Junior. They could call it nerdish or dorkish.
Nerdish!
Honestly, everyone in the family deserve a spin-off show. All of their actors are just that good and funny.
@gunfighter Man-ish
I would watch any show that involes junior😀
gunfighter there making a mixedish
I just started watching this show from season 1 and when I heard them all speak I was like 😱😱 puberty came for them already dammm
@Jonathan Lumbreras more like every preteen on any show with more than one season ever 💀
Check out season 4 of the wire, the middle schoolers start as scrawny and kiddish and by the end of the season they're big as hell

Did everyone see how Dre was towards Zoey?? He's still giving her the COLD shoulder! LMAO. The shade is so real!
Derek Morris dont really follow the show, whats that abt
Starlin Peña Ignore the dumbass comment above. Look at the second and last episode of last season.
Sam Brooks she cheated on a final and almost got expelled. Now he’s cut her off from money.

Patiently waiting on grown-ish 2b

I noticed that too lmao, took her cup and everything 😂

Zoey is me to my brother when he moved to college😂
Ruby is killing me with the way she's carrying Devante. lol. Love her.
Congratulations Junior 🎉. I got a feeling he's going to do big things 😉

he needs his own show.
Nicer than my first place. Think shag carpet and 3 cats worth of hair.
