@@JasonBrant IMDb lists nine Bloodfist movies made by Corman, including 'Bloodfist 2050', whose title makes me think it has to be post-apocalyptic sci-fi martial arts. In other words: "All The Things!"
Apparently Bloodfist 2 is the only one that's a direct sequel and connected to the first one.

billy blanks was a 7-time world karate champion. one of the best of all time. he was also a golden gloves champion and a tri-state golden gloves champion of champions so he could box as well.
Kind of a goofy actor, but yeah he is a badass! I mean the dude is legit, he can fight! All respect to him, man.

Fun fact: Speaking of Kumites and Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Frank Dux actually challenged Don to a fight. As far as I know, this epic battle of epic epicness has not yet come to fruition, but I think Don would mop the floor with him. Dux is Steven Seagal levels of phony and Don is a kickboxing legend who is one of the most respected martial artists alive.
If you're gonna do The Dragon, you'll have a blast watching Cybertracker.

When you asked your wife when her next clan meeing was, that genuinely made me crack up - I love you guys.
Back in 1998, My Video Store I ran, booked, Don 'The Dragon" Wilson and Cynthia Rothrock for a Meet & Greet/Autograph signing and they were Class acts and really good human beings....they were funny and great with all the kids and customers and it was an honor to meet them due to I am a huge fan of these two. They even did a Demo of their moves...pretty cool day.
I worked at a VHS store as a teen. Best job ever
This is the perfect kind of movie to enjoy on a Friday night with a few cold beers and a hot pizza!

The best thing about this series is that In part two Don is the same character as in part 1. After that each film he plays a different character (well the names are different) but they still called them 'bloodfist' lol
That Soul-Glo shirt = A+. I will never forget that commercial or the part where Daryl's family gets up from the couch and leaves Soul-Glo wet spots on the seats.
Don Wilson might not be the most exciting martial artist to watch onscreen but when it comes to actual fighting he is the real deal. He’s proved that.
The Dr. Was like give him sodium carbonate which is soda ash instead of bicarbonate which is baking soda. Unless he’s in extreme acidosis I don’t know what the hell he was doing . He must’ve been one of those I stayed at Holiday Inn Express kind of doctors.

To be accurate, the genre of underground fighting tournament to the death movies was started by Bruce Lee. Bloodsport is nothing more than a reimagined version of Enter The Dragon.

But its not just the mechanism of "protagonist enters a kumite", Enter the Dragon was a siginifantly different plot. All these films are Bloodsport reimagined by people with the deep vision and talent of an 10th grade AV club.
This is true, and NOTHING will top Enter the Dragon for ass-whooping, kicks to the giggles and Bolo's chesticles.

Completely forgot about that movie. Unfortunately, I don't think the movie went far enough in being a dumb Lifetime movie and it ended up just being boring. I feel like there is a cut of that full of improv lines, though. And that would be amazing.
I watched so many Don the Dragon Wilson movies in my youth. My Favorite is Bloodfist 3 Forced to fight. Watching his real fights are the best shot fights. Film makers didn't know how to shoot fights for Don and that is too bad because he is so damn good.
The fights in this we're done really poorly.

You know, I’m starting to think that Bloodfist MAY have been ever so slightly influenced by Bloodsport.
It’s very subtle but if you REALLY look for it, it’s there.
Remember seeing this on Cinemax, in the late 80’s. Came on around 11:00 pm, because back then they didn’t show R rated flicks till after dark. Even at 12/13 years old, realized this was a mock up of Bloodsport.

20+ years ago I saw Don “The Dragon” Wilson spar in an exhibition match versus some guy called “The Dragon Killer” it was obviously not a real match as they pulled their punches and kicks and just put on a show. The crowd booed them so bad they ended the match early.

Fun fact this was remade as Full Contact and Bloodfist 2050. Bloodfist III was also remade as Live By The Fist and Caged Heat 3000 and Bloodfist IV was remade with Don Wilson as Moving Target. Roger Corman was such a card that he remade his classics at least 3 times. Bloodfist V has Steve James and the bad guy from Karate Kid Part II. I'll say it again Bloodfist II is awesome. Black belt, Red Sun Rising and Cyber Tracker are all worth seeing. Donald Wilson was pretty much the Bruce Le of his heyday. Not Bruce Lee, I mean Bruce Le.

Although the poisoning was different, I think that was supposed to be kinda like the part in Bloodsport where Bolo crushes those white tablets and throws the powder in Van Damme’s eyes, and he’s out of it for awhile.

This will sound like an humble brag, but both me and a good friend of mine had experiences with female stalkers in the past. It's annoying and in my friend's case also a bit scary, because his stalker was legit crazy, mine was just tiresome and infuriating(waited for me outside of my house, my job at the time, my grandparent's, sent me letters, called me 20 times a day, bought me gifts..). This movie is surprisingly bad, i remember liking it when i saw it as a teen, i think my standards were very low back then.. You made it fun though!
