Dude all the criticism of Vocodah using inward bass every round is honest really stupid. There are sounds that you can highlight that every beatboxer uses every round. His problem is that he tries to uses too much variation in one round leading to him not having enough later on without repeating himself.
He could 100% use inward base as much as he wants as long as he varies it up more and better plans out his usage techniques as he has enough techniques imo he just wasted them too early.
Like look early Napom. A lot of his rounds during battles used liprolls but he just had enough variation and enough structure as to not burn thru all of his liproll techniques in one round (which he could).
Most sounds that people overuse are necessary for their style of beatbox, fast combos, etc. But Vocodah’s inward base is just over used and his beats are lacking innovation. The only thing that is consistently improving is his inward bass. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fucking sick but the whole riddim and inward base spam has been old since before he changed his name.
Soulles3 that's because he wastes all of his techniques literally in a round and than repeates them throughout. If you compare him to past Napom he has just as many techniques if not more than Napom has with his liprolls. Just the way he performs and battles make him use all of his bass techniques literally in a round.

@@soulless1424 his routines just got more obnoxious with the bass spam since headbangers dropped, his "variety" in the form of slightly changing the mouth/tongue position and an occasional sidfx scratch is just mind numbing
i think that this is like the battle of BizKit against Ballistix, basically, what i want to say, it's that everything like trashtalks or something like that in a stage it`s just show, you shouldn't take it seriously .

I feel bad for vocodah. He keeps getting so close and not getting 1st. River deserved what he got, he’s amazing. But vocodah needs just a little bit of improvement perhaps with build ups or some technicality. After that I’m definitely sure he can get a 1st place, he deserves it.

A lot of beatboxers rely on the same sounds through all their battles and performances. It’s safe and comfortable. Sometimes people master a specific craft or style but give different variations of it. Vocodah has done just that. So to complain about his use of inward bass is insane. He has taken that style and is soaring higher and higher with it. BIG UPs to Vocodah. One day he’ll snag 1st place and it will be one of the most exciting things to happen to the beatbox world. And that’s no diss on River. I think River is an absolute monster but Vocodah’s energy and unique sound is otherworldly. Vocodah is like the Leonardo DiCaprio of the beatbox world. Constantly getting snubbed.
