I mean he was right, this was I think 2009/2010 when Sheamus & Cena feuded over the WWE title with Sheamus winning the title at TLC in a botched finish by Cena and that it was a shame because it went straight to Cena again soon afterwards and Triple H and Orton etc.

mick coming off the top of that cage and getting back up was greater than that flight jimmy snuka took.it wont be topped anytime. its almost impossible to keep home/family life separate from the ring. shawn michaels was one of the most cut throat guys out there. marty got screwed by him big its why him and hhh get along so great they are the same person. cerebral assasin

Old school wrestling was the best because they didn't take themselves too seriously and just entertained. Attitude era was great because they took the storylines to a new level. Both eras had fun commentators. It is just shit now, all of these matches are too good and like Jesse said there is nothing left and very few can build a character that isn't already played out.

great interview with two intelligent and articulate men... yet i was hoping that in the middle of their very insightful conversation Mick would inexplicably take his dinner plate and break it on Jesse's dome and then all hell would break loose with water and salads being tossed around and someone body slamming the other right through the table. then Jesse would pin Mick down and the interviewer would count to 3

  • @TheeCoachg

I agree with both. You also have to take into consideration that Mick embodied the “Extreme era”. The whole Hardcore/Attitude era was an inception by him. Especially the Cactus Jack character. Mankind vs The Undertaker in a Broiler Room Brawl is to this day,one of the best brawls EVER. Jessie on the other hand comes from the Hogan-Warrior-Macho-Lex Lugar style era, where its not about bumps but rather physique and how just the sound of your entrance music and a 20 sec promo just before could really get the people going like he said in the match with Tito. I think once WCW was gone,WWE should pulled back but (tho i havent watched in YEARS) now it seems like they just competing with themselves and its just...not entertaining.
