This truck requires very little, metal drive shafts and new tires/battery are the only mandatory upgrades in my opinion. Anything beyond is your own style.
I mean it's a 50 dollar truck that out of the box appears to be of less quality than a wpl which is sub hobby grade to begin with...soo were you expecting?
The tolerances are better on the stock plastic parts is where I'm getting at, the metal "upgrade" have so much play, I had to add shims, replace the bushings and whatnot lol
The red links to the body? For the metal links, it's M2x5mm, with a 6mm OD flanged button head, but I don't like how the head of the screw acts like the bushing/sleeve, I got some longer 12mm screws and standsoff/bushings to see if I can be improved, 2x4x5mm aluminum standsoff for the screw and a shorter nylon 4x6x4mm to fit inside the hole of the body, once I get them I will post another video
Have the exact same issue.... realised after installing everything. Plastic parts are anytime better.
After watching this, now I have to rethink to change to metal parts or not

And new springs. That's all.
What bearing did you place in the rear axle ?I’ve got the same issue. There where completely missing
ouch high differance tollerances.
What screws go into the arms that join the axle to the body?

i see metal chassis for mn82, but the price is more than the unit itself lol, is it worth to change the chassis to metal?
The red ones

That's pretty weak for sure.. wear of the components long term prolly won't hold up. Looks pretty though
shit
Maybe you need better bushings
There was none lol, I replaced some fasteners and added nylon bushings, much better now
