How do you alter the bpm tempo in this setup with no fysical decks? Do you do it in Traktor?
Thanks for checking out the video. Yes, you adjust bpm within the Traktor software.
Like the K2 mapping I have one and trying to find a good mapping.... but also seen the effects done on the xone 96 mixer and I would think the sound card on the 96 is way better than the K2... but your mapping is great cause you carry a K2 with you and the setup is a lot easier in a club and just plug into the house mixer... BTW thanks for the mapping with Maschine also have a MK3 that is just sitting there
Thanks for checking out the video! Yes I agree with you about the audio card in the 96 vs the xone. Its good to have back ups and redundancies when your using a laptop setup like this. Enjoy the mapping!
Great video and set up but how are you transitioning from Deck A to Deck to B with no faders set up?
I use the fader and the volume faders on the external xone 96 mixer

Firstly great video, I have a question regarding using the x96 with 4 tracks in Tracktor and Machine… would you be able to use the two channels on the left of the mixer with the send and receive ? If so can you elaborate? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for checking out the video! Great question! Yes you can, you would just need to route the audio output from Traktor into the return channels on the left side of the Zone mixer. I believe they are 1/4 inch cables, so your extrernal audio interface will need to have those, I don't believe the 96 allows for the send/return channels as outputs on the internal routing in tractor when plugged directly into the 96 via usb. So you would need to use an external audio interface with 1/4 cables. Hope this helps!
Hi, I have a simliar setup than you and I have an issue with the midi and Maschine SW. I mapped some knobs from X2 into Maschine to modify some FX, but the CUE buttons from the mixer send MIDI notes to Maschine and everytime I select a cue or Filter on/off, it sounds the sample highlighted in Maschine, do you know how you can disable the midi notes sent from the Mixer CUE buttons?
Is this being in black and white so we have to guess what colors the led's are on the boards?

Yes, I use the machine mikro in my setup also, so yes it will work.

I've tried it now, but I can't manage to integrate my K2 into machine 2. I have the MK3 controller and have the same goal as you, to control the effects from machine 2 with the K2, but I can't do it. That's why I want to sell the Mk3 and work with Ableton, because it's much easier to map, but I actually like the MK3 controller. If you could make a video of how you did it, I'm sure it would help a lot of people who want to do the same.

How do you set cue and scroll trough track and adjust your pitch ?
That can be found inside Traktors controller manger settings. You would need to map those functions to the K2

You have to open Machine standalone software and also open Traktor and run them both at the same time.

You might need to adjust the midi settings inside of the Machine software for the midi to communicate.
