Ian, you're a farmer. Farming isn't just the cute cows and calves. It's being in a tractor doing what farmers do. If people don't like it, they don't have to watch do they. I personally like watching whatever has to be done, makes me think of my childhood.😊

I know it's not a Hedge Cutter but thought it did a great job - bit like using an adjustable spanner when you don't have a socket or right size ring spanner. Well impressed 👍

Hi Ian, thanks for bringing us along for the ride 😊 I'm sure you know, and probably have a reason for not doing it, but you can upload and schedule your videos in advance so they release at a particular time. It would save you rushing back to upload every day?
Yes I can, unfortunately I can only do it for public videos, not for members only. Channel members get videos a day early with no adverts. So I can’t use the schedule button more than a few hours before six pm.
@@FarmerP I knew you'd have a reason, CZcams should allow you to set two schedules one for public and one for members. May suggest it 😉👍🙂 appreciate all your efforts though, enjoy your evening!

The morale of this tale is "When fencing make sure your clear up after yourself"🙃 Lovely bit of kit though.
We let a guy graze some sheep, instead of putting electric fencing up he blocked a couple of thin bits with old stock fencing off cuts.

We use a kuhn version of that machine. You have to go bottom gear on hedges to make a good job and also I put it into 1000pto box so the tractor is just ticking over means you go slower tractor speed than 540pto
That made the field look better nice job .

Better things to do when you are alone, then you point to the tractor but what we didn't see was all the cake you ate before making this video !!! :)

The time i had wire in the rotor i puled off the pto and could wind it backwards.... most of it..... greatings frof the Netherlands
That works sometimes, this was wound on a bit tight 🙂
Those flail mowers are good when you’ve got your head round them, especially with a few technical jobs done. Yeah facing up hedges scare the 💩 out of me, had a few big bits try to join me 🤣🤦♂

We had 4ft. Long magnets on our yard tractors in the freight terminal for picking up miscellaneous steel objects. Do you have anything similar in the UK?
Not on the farm, that wire should not have been there.

There is a time that you have to make time for your wife to go shopping or visit your daughters in their homes. And he needed it, too. He had a feeling .. his battery-powered cutting disk. But I'm still waiting on the video where Farmer p is in ABBI's home eating out off her fridge. And with is feet on her sofa 🛋. Like the farmer promised to do when we go back to the video abbi got her little sheep from martin out of new Sealand if i am wright.
Perhaps driving at hedge trimming speed might improve the cut on the sides of the hedges 🤔 tidy job 👍

i am sure no one would mind if the video was late, after-all farmers don’t do. a simple 9-5 job do they .
i bet with a bit more practice you could get the hedges done better, do they do different blades or anything for it? more mixed use rather than just topper ones.never had fencing wire issues, the joys of arable and no field wandering stock,unless the pigs got out 😆😆
The wire was left to cover a thin bit of hedge when a guy grazed his land maggots out there, it was only tied up with a bit of string, but it was overgrown and I didn’t see it 🤬
