Dressage Stretches To Help Keep Your Heels Down When Riding

  • In this video I discuss some stretches you can do to help you improve your range of motion in your ankle to allow your heel to naturally drop lower in the stirrup.
    When we have stiff ankles and muscles around this area it can create a blockage, that blockage then affects how well your body is able to absorb the horses movement.
    So try these simple exercises out to help improve your ankle range of motion and ultimately notice how it impacts your heel position.
