So glad i found you on tiktok! Im always look for for higher level videos on electronics and your in depth yet concise explanations are exactly the type of content im looking for :)
MY MAN! cutting edge stuff!!! BUT you gotta slow down now, im running out of ways of calling you LEGEND in these dayum youtube comments lol! But seriously dude THANK YOU!
Wow, nice find! I had an interesting one this week…shark 3500 which is the same as audiopipe 3000 which is two audiopipe 1500 strapped inside of one case. One board had blown power supply and one blown output fet, not uncommon, however after repair the ps fets were ringing and getting warm only on this board. After hours of diagnosis, I found lowering the oscillation frequency of the tl494 from 30khz to 28khz was the only solution. I assume the transformer is slightly out of design spec.
Yeah that's very interesting! I don't have the experience you do for sure. But I have run into the really strange 'noisy resistor'. It can be fun to connect it to other equipment like an amp to listen to it and a power supply, heat and cold to torture it and if that doesn't change anything try slowly crushing it. Maybe even try running a speaker through it (with a speaker and amp you don't care too much about so you can really turn it up). I've only done some of that maybe two times so far. One went up in flames and the other stabilized with heat (at the wrong value) but made some good spikes as I crushed it.
nice diagnostics, but i'd have just lifted the pin of the IC to disconnect it to isolate it. Also I would not have used hot-air as much as you were were soldering was an option to avoid heating and thermally stressing surrounding components unnecessarily. Otherwise, great job on the repair!
Wow glad to see someone else has had this, I had another tech tell me to pee off when I said a resistor had gone down in value out of a smps I was working on. It was like a 0402 and I’d chucked it away so I couldn’t prove it to him gonna use your video now haha 😀 How weird, how is it possible ?
Haha can happen! Someone else commented something about with high voltage, conductive particles can edge their way into the resistive material making it slightly more conductive. No idea tho haha.
I have a 2000w Memphis amp that I blew a power fuse on and now it won’t turn on I’ve opened it up and couldn’t see any burnt components I had a electronics guy look at it he couldn’t tell is there any way I could send it in?
As always, mind blown! I'm wondering, I have an old Alpine V12 MRV-F340 that's dead. Would that be of interest to you? Would love to know what was wrong with it and if it could be fixed. Thanks.
A case of ion migration. Resistors connected to HV experience this - saw it in a series of boards in a piece of military gear (can’t say what…for reasons). Just wanted to say I’m glad you’re doing what you do in educating and reaching 100x more people than I ever did on diyma in the science and art of car amplifier repair.
Funnily enough i am having what seems to be the same type of issue with a JBL14001 after it blew the power supply MOSFETS (only one set, strange) I also done your upgrade so am not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Great work sir..ask You something. did repair jvc 800 watt car amplifier I want its amplifier mosfet number or ks-ax 3104 circuit diagram please help me
Sorry. What the...please record in widescreen, vertical is absolutely horrible! It has nothing to do with mobile, everyone rotate his mobile to widescreen.
You're a great teacher mate! Much appreciated!
Wow thamks barevids for awesome fault finding ..this is my amp and it was driving me mad not knowing what the issue was ..this guy is a genius.
You sir are amazing at the level of understanding without even needing a schematic. I need you fix an amp for me please!
Very good troubleshoot 👍
Best regards from Philippines 🇵🇭☕☕
I'm more in the comfort zone when components are visible broken😂
Greatings from a fan in Norway
Very nice 👍💜..... this video felt like a CZcams shorts video
Your videos have helped me out alot, thank u so muchfor sharing your knowledge
Dude. Your a freakin genius! Right on!

damn, you have amazing knowledge for amplifier repairs.
I don’t know what you said, but I like the way you said it.
Holy moly!!!! Amazing diagnosis!!!

This video might help me the most so far. I’m giving this exact issue with a jbl 3000 watt
short and to the point :)
Great troubleshooting! 👍🏾
Loving these!
Very nice!
Very cleaver 👍 I would of given up
Great job fixing that beauty of an amp.

Wow haha. 30 is kinda higher than normal as well.
I am fascinated as fuck. 👏🏼👏🏼

Some of the best amps to get by far 🎉
Excellent

He always makes sure to heat up all of the surrounding area slowly to avoid any issues.
It’s me again
eyyy its my #1
Love you bro
Nice job man.gotta luv what u do.electronics technicians can pull their hair out lol
I’ve actually had similar in the past with triac that went full closed on me. Was the first and last time I’ve seen that happen.
Brilliant! Xx

Do you have any pw8000 to repair until now?

You got to send me your information. Just in case my powerus Amplifier need to be fix
Where are you located? I need an amp looked at.
Actually i am junior in repairing..i couldn't trace fault jvc 800 watt
Man I own this amp I hope it don’t have any problems ? If this happens atkeast it can be fixed.
How do I send one into you?
This is witchcraft I tell you!
Is the powerus pw8000 having the same problem??
It's not a problem it was just a fluke one off fault
@barevids thanks im looking to buy one here in the usa but they are all sold out. Appreciate your reply man thanks

I guarantee, they do not 😂
@@barevids Then it's their problem. Great Channel, but with vertical recording not for me.
Nice fix
