I compared it with my own S23 Ultra and I noticed your charging only said "Fast Charging" with green circle and not "Super Fast Charging 2.0" with the blue circle; that's why the charging was slow. It's not using 45W. Try it with another charging brick and cable that supports 45W charging and you'll see the difference.
I think you also need to toggle a setting to enable 45 W charging
@@kiwisorbet I think mine is enabled by default, but you're right! Just go to Settings and seach "Fast Charging", then enable it if it's turned off for some reason.
I still got my 45 watt charger from last year's gifts.
Which color is better looking green or black dont know which one to choose.
Totally, I can confirm this
Got the Phantom Black 512GB version today. Can't wait for it to arrive in 2 days!
Not boring at all man. It's beautiful, sleek and luxury. Iphone has the same design in the last 3 releases man with big notch that I still and forever dislike.
Can't agree more.
I had the 14 pro and the notch is unbearable and incredibly intrusive.
Samsung and other OEM don't get a pass for using the same design but iPhones are allowed and approved of doing so.
@@JordanMac79 yes because this phone doesn't exist in a bubble
@@JordanMac79 just like no one can talk about Jordan without mentioning LeBron or talking about LeBron without mentioning Jordan.
Just 3?
iPhone has the same design for
iPhone X
iPhone Xs
iPhone 11 series
iPhone 12 series
iPhone 13 series
iPhone 14 series
This is the first non-iPhone that I’ll have since the 4s (just waiting for it to arrive in the mail), and I’ve gotta say I’m pretty excited to try something new. No other phone has made me willing to switch until this one.
Enjoy the freedom with your new Android...You'll never go back to Apple!!
Make sure you slap a theme on it. Like, first thing you do is put a theme. (Hold finger on an empty space, screen will change and at the bottom you'll see it say "theme".) F n use one.
Enjoy not being handcuffed
who cares what you think buddy.. You don't even own it yet.
Which color is better looking green or black dont know which one to choose.
The first phone in a long time where I feel like I'm going to keep it for awhile. Samsung killed it with this one.
So I must say you have solidified a subscriber in me! Your voice is so easy to listen to and the details you provide are just right. The pace is excellent and the b - reel is astonishing! Now for the phone I too like many haven’t had a phone other than a iPhone since the iPhone 3G n I must say with this phone being my second line and non daily driver I am so excited to learn more of what an android can do. I am eager to explore your channel for tips and tricks or if anyone has suggestions on a CZcamsr who has great content like you sir please let me know. Keep up the good work and let’s see what Apple tosses out to stay in competition with the latest Samsung in September.
I get the idea that Samsung played it safe for its new S23 Ultra. As the saying goes; if it ain't broken, don't fix it. Been using it for the past few days, all i can say is i love the new S23 Ultra and what it can offers me.
What else could they do? Make it triangular? They've improved nearly every feature to top industry standards. The phone is near flawless.
@@notsoeloquent Why do you have to be like that and go all the way there, triangular phone, when you know the biggest complaint about the Ultra is how ugly and awkward its design is. Design and functionally goes hand in hand, it has to function well, but it has to look good. Just like shoes, the bigger the size the uglier the shoe. Looks and feel are also part of the fun, part of the formula, also the design of the interface, and to be honest, android has become very stagnant and stale with their user interface and for $1400 it better wow in every way.
@@lokitomanny huh? Ugly?, you're joking right?
@@JordanMac79 Double standard for sure, and truth is that these phones have gotten so great, they are so good, and they have come already in all kinds of shapes and designs that all we are getting are recycled styles and designs at this point, and for sure the last to Ultras are not the most fun and good-looking phones.
@@JordanMac79 you came into this comment section whining about "fanboys" and "muh iphone". Above you is another deep thinker complaining about rectangular phone. Stop this cringefest, please.
I have purchased mine but when I was making the decision of what to buy I must have watched or read 20-30 reviews and opinions but you are the first to even reference the ability and quality of making phone calls. I was beginning to think the S23 was only a camera. I wanted another rugged phone but also wanted the pen, sunlight viewable, and the long term update ability so I decided on the S23 Ultra after looking into protective covers because in my work I am very hard on phones.
Those, zoom shots of game were incredible...
This is an amazing quality review video, liked a subscribed!
I just ordered mine a few days ago. Very excited! Upgrading from my beloved OnePlus 7 pro. It's had it's run, and I'm gonna miss that full screen experience, but I'm excited for the what the S23 is going to offer, as well as the overall camera improvement. Excellent review as well Zach! Can always count that you'll put out the best and cleanest content!
You won't regret, got mine last week and I'm loving it ❤️
Everybody's favorite OnePlus. I loved my 8 pro. You'll love the s23, might take a little time to adjust to adjust to all the options you have in the settings but you'll love it.
Same, I moved from 8T to 23U and it's day and night, you will be very happy.
I have it from day 1 and it is a great phone, not perfect, not 1 phone is perfect but it is a great phone.
You have to be careful with the 200mp camera, which cannot be used in all circumstances. You will notice that the 200MP camera is completely wrong in certain circumstances haha. In other circumstances you will say wow, if you zoom in on the photo you see the details better and sharper, but with other photos you get a completely wrong photo with the 200MP camera, you will notice that yourself. I always take enough pictures if I can with all 3 and then I take the best one ;). THE 200MP, 50MP and the main camera. Sometimes using the main camera is still best. So it really depends on the situation. It can also happen with a photo that a black shirt will be blue, which is another one of the downsides of Samsung. The video camera does have the correct colors again, don't forget with the video camera that you can also take pictures there, that is really a luxury. For example, I have been filming at the carnival but have not taken any pictures, well, I freeze the image and can still take a picture.
The video camera is certainly very good in daylight, the stability has clearly improved.
The battery life is finally with me at least much better now than with the S22 ultra.
It's the best smartphone I've ever had. You're going to be satisfied.
@Flub Flubber The S23 Ultra IS perfect though. I literally have ZERO gripes with this phone and I usually alway's do.
Hey if you're wanting a screen protector, try the white dome tempered glass. It's crystal clear, and it does not have that ugly bubble over the finger print scanner. I'd got mine on Amazon for about 35 USD.
Loving my S23 Ultra. The biggest thing I love about the phone like mentioned is the battery. I only charge it every morning and I don't even need to charge to 100%. I usually charge it up to 80%, and it last me all day with at least 20-30% battery remaining. Unlike many, I'm okay with the volume buttons. When I got the S21 Ultra, I did initially miss the placement of the volume, but I don't know if it's a habit I picked up while using the S21 Ultra, but the way I hold my phone, my index or middle finger is always ready to touch the volume.
As another comment said - looks like you’re capping out at 25 watts of power when plugged in. The 0 to 100 difference between 25 watts and 45 watts is a couple of minutes. You’ll only really see a difference if going from like 40 to 60 (short bursts of charging)
I've always been a fan! Great video!
Hey, where do you get your wallpapers from? Loved the vid.
shoutout to your audio quality. good stuff.
I’m picking one up Monday can’t wait !!!! The last android I had was a note 10 plus and it was amazing
Screen protectors work fine on curved displays. Harder to find good ones but definitely not a "no go" as you put it.
That is EXACTLY what I thought when I heard him say that!
It is a "no go" aesthetically, because most of the screen protectors need to have a (really noticeable) thinner circle where the fingerprint scanner is.
@@kgunthorpe no necesariamente, depende del que uses, hay buenas opciones solo que cuestan un poco más que no tienen esa huella en pantalla
@Jason Santos bruh i paid €50 for a screen protector and still had it. I ripped it off in a instant
@@midgeot no, you just need the ones with liquid dispersion. The downside is that they're very difficult to remove. But no circle as you mentioned.
Switching up from the s10+ to the s23 ultra… im living in the future. Fantastic device, especially with all of the purchase perks being offered
Does it feel faster than the s10+ ? And how about the cameras?
@alvpha I don't think I can even say I've noticed '5G'. It hardly ever registers. I've got most texting issues. Other than that phone is great. Camera spectacular
0:54 what's the lockscreen wallpaper? Its amazing
Thats the voice of zach Anderson ✌ my man I hope you keep your personal channel active as well 🤩
Plz do a home screen setup video..
I love the SPen. Hope it stays forever
Thank you for the great video. Where do you find that fantasy wallpaper, actually?
In the UK the change to Snapdragon from Exynos is a big upgrade for us, much faster and more efficient. A point about 'only' 45w though; if the phone lasts more than a day does it really matter it only charges at 45w, when you're asleep anyways? It's still faster than the iphone charge rate and lasts almost as long now!
I had my Oneplus 8 that charged SUPER quick. But the thing would drain... Id have to recharge it so much. I like being able to wake up with like 30% battery with the 23 ultra and think "yeah its still pretty good for a while"
Man you earned a sub just for this video. Such a good, concise and information rich review telling me exactly what I want to know. Great job.
It has the cleanest look on the market hands down. Not to bulky, and looks nice with the cameras
Can you share the feather wallpaper which is there on your phone please?
Same
Wallpapers are from backdrops, lovey, and Walli
Question, do you guys (including creator) power the phone off when you go to sleep? If not, what do you do?
Great review as always 🥷
The charging example around minute 4 is not 45w. "Super fast charging" has a blue circle, not a green circle. Pls fix
Wallpapers?
Link to your wallpapers please?
I just got mine yesterdsy, 256 green. It's delicious to say the least, except the speaker is too low up to 80%. Out of the box, 4 mins in I tested the audio. I now need to keep volume over 80% at all times.
Beautiful review! Could you please share a link to those lovely wallpapers

Good review 👍
Where can I find the wallpapers you show in the beginning? (The feather one) 😅
I know the one at 0:24 is from Backdrops called Candy Curls.
@@buzzmorgan4351 I couldn't find the other either, but thank you for the app. It had amazing wallpapers

Wallpaper?
Hi Zach! Where did you get the icon pack from please?
Hey bro which widget are you using around the 7.26mins in the center. And what's the name of your icons sweet looking 👍
Wallpaper links please? 😮😮
I found one thing interesting, why the color of those icons so grey?
Wallpaper app?
I have changed from S22U (Exynos). When I have heard that Snapdragon 8 gen 2 will be used globally I did not hesitate to pre-order new model blindly. S22U was already good phone but with few weak areas (video quality, battery life, speakers, animations...). This year phone fixing all those issues and it is worth as replacement. Only few things I noticed which I believe can be fixed with software updates. Telephoto is more noisy than s22U one. Night mode is too aggressive for my taste and trying to make day from night very often. An there is many flares while recording video in sunny day, other than that it is great phone and I believe best overall package on market.
Why do you think you can't get screen protectors for this slightly curved screen? They had them for the much more curved s22 ultra and note 20 ultra.
live wallpaper on lock screen, where to get?
Is that the Phantom Black color , or the special edition "Exclusive" grey color?
3:52 do we really need more than 45w???
Please tell me how to get that wall paper thank you
Great video! You used to put the name of the games you played on the screen, pls help us with that
Yeah what was the name of that flying game? 🤔
Oh it's called Race The Sun in the Play Store app.
I'm pretty sure the rally racing game is Rally Fury and the fantasy fighting game is Genshin Impact.
Where were you ???
I was waiting for your video for a long time. Loved your this review👍 video bcoz I do have S23 Ultra (12/256). But will you upload your customising video of S23 Ultra ?
🤞Crossed my friend.
Hey! No sabia que había versión de 12 de ram para 256 GB. Pensé que para ese almacenamiento eran 8GB
Can you do a what's on my s23 ultra video please
What game were you playing on that phone?
I want the lockscreen video, so beautiful. Where can i get it? :D
Love this guy videos
Zack's always been good at it. He just gotta keep them coming and coming.
very nice video by the way what is the name of the wallpaper app
I've got 20 hours battery life with 7 hours screen on. Not bad, but how are you getting almost 2 days?? Are you running at a lower resolution?
What are the names of those games in your video, the space ship one
Race the sun
Best review 👌
Can I please get the link to that fiery purple pyramid wallpaper?
Thanks
where can i get that live lockscreen?
what's the name of that flying game you're playing
still using the s7 edge beast, considering buying a new one but honestly dont know why; it is still fast enough, camera is still really good, has basically same PPI as current flagships, battery holds out for like 2 days, it has aux, heart rate monitor and SD slot with 1tb lol
SD card and heart rate monitor are killer!
Love this phone. My favorite EVER.
Holy crap the zoom on that thing 🤯 6:17
And there’s micro abrasions on the screen on the unit I’m using right now. Glass might be stronger, but scratches easier.
Nice review 🥷
S23 Ultra - the best decision you can make in the smartphone sector.
My mobile phone/smartphone history is relatively manageable.
The first phone I got was
the Sharp GX20 (used for about 2 years);
LG GD510 (used for about 2 years because the Sharp GX20 broke);
Galaxy Note 1, then and until now the most brilliant thing that came out (used until 2016);
S3 (second cell phone for the Note 1, I gave it away);
LG G5 (the worst phone I've owned so far, threw it out after a year of use);
S7 (second cell phone for the Note 1 until massive battery problems occurred after a year);
Huawei Mate 10 Pro (1 year of use, and still used by my mom and runs absolutely fine);
Huawei P30 Pro (1 year use, still an excellent phone and still owned by my mother-in-law);
I would have liked to get a Huawei again, but then I was banned.
So I wanted to get an iPhone because of the cheap contract change.
It was the iPhone 11 Pro (1 year of use, but the battery is just unacceptable, so sold).
Then got another iPhone through the contract extension - the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Super smartphone and performance, but if the camera breaks after exactly one year,
this is absolutely unacceptable for me and I don't see the repair.
(I've thought before, why should you get an iPhone - yes, it's something completely different, but nothing more.
Yes, the devices work very well with each other, as does the workmanship, but the more you think about how limited you are,
it just doesn't make any sense at all why you should reach for the iPhone. Also a simple data transfer to another device...)
So it was time to switch back to Android.
After all these years, the S23 Ultra came at the right time.
(Yes, I was supposed to get a Note in the years before that, but somehow it no longer appealed to me to get a Samsung,
especially as in the environment almost everyone had battery problems.)
But as I said, now was the right time to get the S23 Ultra.
Especially due to the move from Samsung side to Qualcomm.
With the S23 Ultra you are secured for the next few years anyway, the performance has been covered by the technology for years.
The latest generation is already overkill for almost 90% of smartphone users anyway.
But the possibilities that are in the S23 Ultra (Dex, Spen).
In general, the adjustments that can be made are easy and, as already mentioned, data transfer is so easy again without any problems.
S23 Ultra a feeling like 12 years ago with the Galaxy Note 1.
I am confident that I now have a smartphone again, which I will use without restrictions for the next 5 years and beyond.
What was that live wallpaper, link please
nah man ill take the 45w max charge for the prolonged battery life and i saw the tear down and the battery is easy to remove and replace so that was a big selling point for me
8:26 what is that wallpaper app?
Lovey app. The others you see are from backdrops and walli
Please let me know which game is that your playing???
Love this phone..very fast...the battery is a winner.
1:08 not true, you could use glass screen protectors albeit not as user intuitive as you need to use UV activated glues such as LOCA,
I went from s21 Ultra to a Google Pixel 7 Pro and I hated the buttons, got so use to Samsung I had to get the s23 Ultra. Don't get me wrong I do love the pixel, both have their place..
2:00 - what game is that?
IQ Shield......best curved screen protectors, using them since the Note 8
Whitestone Dome >
Nothing comes close

Where's the OnePlus 11 review? The one you've uploaded isn't a review

🥷Great review. I have been loving mine.
Got mine 3 weeks ago and the Bluetooth is still not connecting to my car/ other Bluetooth devices... I am going to return it because of this. It has no ports for a auxiliary cord either
Bro don't know camera assistant exist after 2 weeks💀 & it can fix the shutter lag
I see the s23 ultra don't have a LED light when you charging your phone
About to upgrade from s9+. Yes, I keep them a very long time so obviously I'm not an early adopter who NEEDS the latest and best of everything. But, I still, once it's time to upgrade I find myself looking at the flagships... a bit contradictory maybe. On the other hand, could be motivated by low cost per month of use? Also curious about the Xperia 1 IV. Seems like most rate s23 ultra as the overall better choice, unless you are like a photography nerd/enthusiast, but I do have a soft spot for Sony...
Ha ha, "cost per month of use" - example of how one makes decisions based on emotions / "desire" and then make up some rational sounding motivation...
Wow. That must be a huge upgrade
What icon pack is that
Can you please tell me which app you use for your background pictures?
Backdrop
@@cesarabreu8090 thank you
Samsung came long way from tochwiz to one ui and matching iphone to surpassing them on certain areas. But still the price is on steeper side.
It was called touchwiz not tochwiz loser.
What is that game with the plane flying through the blue gates? 😛
What is that aeroplane game name?
Anyone know what game is that @2:32 ?
Race the sun
How much better is the battery life compared to the LG V60?
On heavy use my S22 Ultra can only do about 5-6 hours at 80% brightness, at FHD+ 60Hz I get about an extra 30 minutes. My V60 can do 9-10 hours which is still awesome.
I was going to upgrade to an S23 Ultra but trade-in offers sucked compared to last year...Since I still prefer photos taken on the V60 not to mention the speakers are also better, I just started using my V60 again with way better battery life to boot.
So how much better is the S23 Ultra compared to the LG V60 in terms of battery life?
I love my s22 ultra battery! I have never used 120hx or wqhd. I pre ordered my s22 ultra so I've had it for a while now and love the battery life. I'm a heavy user
80% brightness? Wtf
My phone is lucky if it ever sees 50% during super sunny days. Other then that its at 25%/30%.
I dont need a sun in my face.
The next batch of old ppl are all gonna suffer from light sensitivity. Whilling to bet on it.
love my s23 ultra battery is so good with heavy usage every day
It’s no iPhone 13 pro though is it
