This is how Florida should treat a company that brings so many jobs and so many visitors to the state, every single day.

Walt didn't wait for the future to happen. He made it happen. Although EPCOT, the city, didn't come to be, WDW is one of the most magical,l futuristic destinations in the world. Thank you Walt and Roy!

Walt Disney was one of the greatest human beings that has ever lived. His accomplishments have never ever been surpassed by anybody else. Walt Disney must have been human though to the point of sin and he was a visionary to the point of pushing the envelope with the cartoon medium to extraordinary lengths, and also creating Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

And Walt Disney never thought in a million years that he would be dead a year after this video. 😔

I suppose nobody can ever really know when their time on this world is up. It is so sad that Walt Disney never lived to see Disney World open because Walt loved Disneyland and I think that he would divided his time equally between Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida.

There is also a Walt Disney Elementary School in Levittown, PA, the quintessential 1950s suburb.

The politics then were for the good of Florida!! Not a political stunt that failed backfired and actually lowered the Sweetheart tax breaks they were getting!! There are far and few who innovated like Walt. Better days back then!! Less hatred and more facination!!
