Enjoyed the factory tour. Dave Lombardo is such a solid player, and Paiste are awesome cymbals! Listen to that Gong! best sound I've ever heard WOW!!!! Go to 9:30 and play from there for Gong, that's insanely amazing! Check out my Paiste Formula 602 'Modern Essentials' 22" ride - I LOVE IT!!

Yep. All the Paiste's cymbals are produced in that factory!
They have a subsidiary (Paiste America, Inc.) in Brea, CA

+Qliphirot They also have a factory inn Germany, all the crappy low budget brass ones are made there. The mid range and top end bronze are only made in Switzerland
+Sion Lewis Not necessarily. I know many, and I myself owned Sound Formula cymbals that were made in Germany, and they were made with Paiste's "Signature" alloy. May not be that way anymore, but I do know Paiste Germany manufactured some high-end Paistes.

@logansdrums Way better also. Paiste's overtones are so, so, SO much better than Zildjian or Sabian. I'm friends with a guy at a drum shop, he was a Zildjian guy before he started, but now he'll only play Paiste. The A Custom line is pretty good, but besides that... Yeah.

Most paiste cymbals are made in germany, but their origin and HeadQuarters are in Switzerland.

worst cymbal i ever had..a broken Zildjian cymbal sounds better than any paiste..by the way they are owned by yamaha now
