One of the lessons to be learnt from this video is that God gave them what they wanted, not what they needed, and the result wasn't good. I always wondered why one should pray, Thy will be done, but this gives the answer. God knows what we need, so it's best to pray that His will be done in my life.

Amen! Sometimes, the best lessons that God can teach us are the ones where He actually lets us have (at least for awhile) the things that we think that we want, so that we can better appreciate the things that He offers to us.

Great question! The first episode in this series clearly demonstrates the archaeological evidence of Israelite people coming into this area prior to this time.

@@kellytusi433 There are many great resources for your questions. While we only present a small sampling of those types of findings in our material, I would encourage you to watch our first series "Following the Messiah" that presents many of the locations, as well as the history, and traditions held concerning the gospel account. Also, there is a fantastic series of documentaries regarding the Israeli captivity in Egypt called "Patterns of Evidence" that presents some incredibly well-researched and compelling evidence to the story of the Exodus. "Drive Thru History: the Gospels" "Acts to Revelation" and "Ends of the Earth" are also very good. The Associates for Biblical Research regularly publish findings of actual digs in Israel that correspond directly to the biblical record. God has never required blind faith as to what He presents to us in the Bible, the evidence is plentiful, if we're willing to look.

To be more specific I'm asking where are the stories like david slew goliath and things of that nature if you know what I mean?other than it be written on papyrus because in my mind with stories so important they should have been carved into stone or something like that, like egypt don't mention them you know things like that I do believe that they existed but I'm talking about e.g. exodus where are the stories and all that or archaeological proof of it.so we got Jericho right the damaged walls right but something so amazing should have been documented or things of that nature, and is Abraham the first Israelite?
