  • This video shows the World Population growth between the years 10,000 and 2100, using historical and projected data. I shows top countries by population, using a bar chart race for the countries and a line chart shows continent's population evolution. Historical and projected population is based on the present countries. (Early World Population relative to present day countries boundaries)

      @frjoethesecond Před měsícem +28

      Pakistan is probably doable as there's a lot of fertile land there and it's very big.
      Nigeria is less likely. They have supply issues already and a lot of problems with terrorism which causes a lot of emigration. They'll also be hit hard by global warming because they're near the equator with a lot of desert already.

    Over a 100 million Indians were killed in the artificial famines caused by the british during their 200 year colonial rule. You can see that is why India's population growth remained almost flatlined for the 200 years from the beginning of the 19th century to mid 20th century. India got independence on 1947, and immediately after that India's population growth rises rapidly from the 1950s. Also, there was no country as pakistan before 1947, it was created artificially in 1947 by partitioning India by the british. One last blunder before they were kicked out.

      The general trend is, the richer and more educated people are, the less children they have. The GDP per capita of China, while still not too high, has increased a lot in the past decades, that combined with the strict one-child policy that took effect last decade has made the birth rate plummet. China has about the same total area of inhabitable land as the USA and both countries can support about the same amount of population (given the same education level of citizens, the gap of which is closing because of China’s development).

    The 22nd century will be the Afro-Asian century, in which Nigeria will be the African hegemon, Africa with the best birth rates, fertility, and births is an ethnic power, , genetic, racial, ancestry, descent and demographic that undoubtedly has the best demographic bonus on planet Earth, African languages such as Amharic, Swahili, Zulu, Hausa, Igbo,, Somali among others as they will be the dominant languages of the future, Russian, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Turkish, Persian They will be the post-Western, post-Anglo-Saxon, post-Germanic and post-Celtic lingua francas , major Western languages such as English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Well, they will be outdated, obsolete, expired, outdated and expired languages. The major Western countries that have had some 600 years of dominance and control will become like last-rate countries and even insignificant and irrelevant for the 22nd century. and the 23rd century will actually be ancient and veteran languages that will never again be used as a lingua franca, vehicular and auxiliary language. , and the birth rate, fertility rate, and fertility rate in the West will be reduced to dust, and birth and death rates will also rise. , so much so that the idyllic and paradisiacal West as we know it will never be again. and the United States will be the last Western empire on earth to fall and we will see a post-American and post-United States world.

    I believe this prediction, but on the other hand, I also find it quite sad. The fact that India's population will continue to grow for so long... reflects its persistent backwardness. In any developed country or truly developing nation, birth rates either decrease or slow down. Those who understand, understand; for those who don't, I'm not here to be your teacher. With the continued high population growth...I genuinely feel sorry for the people of India.🥲

      As an Indian, I get the nation is a shithole. But lower birth rates isn't necessarily a good thing. Look at japan or south korea or now, china. That dip you see in china's population will be the biggest thing holding china's economy back over the next few decades. A larger birth rates means india has more time to use its cheap labour to industrialize and avoid the middle income trap. Well the birth rates here are below replacement level already

      @@Bmike5117 Don't be sorry. Their countries never develop in time, or they mess up drastically. Look at the civilized countries (UK, USA, Germany, France, etc) where the population slows down in growth, and they reach an ample number of citizens... Controllable, not too much, not too little.
      India + China have too many citizens and are going to suffer from overpopulation, housing crisis, lack of cash etc.
