I'm just 5'5" and am super happy with the APX for over 15 years now.

I got the APX 600, im tall with skinny semi long fingers and a regular size frame and I like the feel of this guitar, sounds even more amazing plugged in but sounds nice out as well.

I have the cpx600! It plays and sounds nice for the price! It is much better than the 500! Which I still love, but this 600 just sounds better!

Awesome video. I am seriously considering buying an APX600 series acoustic electric. Looks and sounds impressive!

i got a APX500iii and after hearing about the new sting spacing, im glad i didnt upgrrade, i am tall with big hands and long fingers, i can not have string spacing too close as my hands will get cramped.... so ill stick with the 500iii , but i do like the new acoustic sound maybe Yamaha will gives us the next APX with the original string spacing and maybe keep the CPX at 10mm for ppl with smaller frames? just a thought

Most importantly, does it sound that amazing unplugged? Acoustically? (As I really like playing in different places)
      Expound further please 👌🏻

they are identical, i played both at my local music store (Long and McQuade) and they are identical especially when pluged in there is no difference, if sum1 says one sounds better its usually cuz they can play that specific model better, i play the APX better

Apx and cpx same if you plug in. But for unplug, cpx sounds better
