I had 3 Poms also, same style in same order. Mine never bit or chewed either beyond puppy months. The Merle, keep up on Dental care. Thats what my Merle had horrible problems with. Just advice ❤ I'm on a break, before my 4th PoM. I'd like to have a black female PoM if I can find an AKC ❤
My wolf Pom had to have her teeth cleaned every 6 months. My Merle is averaging every 2 years but the treats is Good & Fun Kababs which really keeps their teeth cleaner. He's about ready to go in again. Thanks for the heads up but they are know to have bad teeth. Black females are beautiful. Mine now will be my last because of my age.@@PoM-MoM
@@Pomeraman Check with shelters and save a life. I get all mine from shelters or rescues. I don't promote breeding for money when so many die in shelters. In less than 6 months I adopted 2 seniors and one is special needs. Seniors never get out of a shelter.
My pom Aubry was profoundly sweet - gentle - loved kids - loved everyone , never left my side - consistent - adoring , an ultimate loveable teddy bear , she was not a yapper , she was patient and attentive, in the moment & loved attention ! She knew she was beautiful ! I had no TEEN phase ! I just had an absolute wondrous dog ! SHE NEVER BIT ! Never showed agression!! Aubry had a collapsing trachea and sadly passed with it at 10 years old . March 3 rd 2024 - rip my beautiful caring beautiful friend . Im lost without you ❤
I guess I am lucky. Mine hasn't been bitey since her brief Puppy terrorist phase that all dogs have. She does chew shoes too much but I am correcting that with a lot of chew toy options
@@PomeranianCareI have a 3 month old pekingese pomeranian and he bites absolutely everything he's a little monster! Lol I just tell him no every time he goes for something he shouldn't then redirect him to one of his toys. If that doesn't work and I know some purists out there won't like me saying this but I give him a light flick to the head and sternly say NO! And that seems to really be reinforcing where the boundaries are. Some people think you should never use negative reinforcement to train only treats and positive reinforcement. I highly disagree if done in the right balance negative reinforcement can be very powerful especially in stubborn dogs which mine is. Both Pekingese and Poms are known for being stubborn breeds.

@@PomeranianCare my vet says that "he's too polite to bite". He never bites, but will lick you when he's upset.
My Pom puppy will bite me over chew toys lol. But I know he’s teething. I just started telling him no when he bites me
