Pride and Prejudice - Darcy and Elizabeth

Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, the emblematic couple of Jane Austen work. A story of willful misunderstandings between a headstrong lady and a proud gentleman. I chose the 2005 movie not because this is my favorite adaptation, I prefer the 1995 series with Colin Firth, but because I love the cinematography and Matthew Macfadyen's acting which gives a softer more introvert version of Darcy than Colin Firth whose version is an all time great.

After the disappointing ending of the serie Sanditon, I thought we all deserved a Jane Austen based production with a happy ending. My favorite Pride and Prejudice adaptation is the 6 parts series with Colin Firth, however, this 2005 movie by Joe Wright has a splendid cinematography and a more reserved Darcy played by one of my favorite actor, Matthew Macfadyen. And this music .... well one of my favorite soundtrack.

this is so beautiful, wow. I've watched like 20 of these fanvids in the past two days, and I have to say that your sound editing is incredibly spot on. you were able to isolate their dialogue so clearly! that makes a world of difference in a video like this. I also appreciate the coloring, subtlety, and restraint throughout this video - a beautiful echo of Darcy's character and Lizzie's more contemplative side. you even included "your hands are cold" at the end, which too many people overlook even though it's a powerfully tender moment. thank you for making this :)
