Interesting question and I apologize for not answering when it was asked. There is no strict structure. Sometimes I work backwards from a visual concept and make a song to fit the visual in my head. Sometimes I make a song and see the visual in my head afterward. Sometimes I'm imagining the visual while I make the music. I try to always have a specific visual theme in mind before I even begin working on a full length volume of What's Happening.
