ScottHoe101 We are not our own, and we glorify God when we help. He asks us to do that helping of each other in His Name. So I am part of the problem. I help a bit, but I think things are mine... so I need to go out and give some of my things today... a beginning and a new way of thinking--that we belong to each other in Christ, in His Body, as brothers and sisters. It is a hard thing to change. Your comment helps me realize why we need to give. Thank you! Pray we do what He needs us to do.

with God by your side, 10 bucks is worth more then billions of cash. you cant give people too much money, all the more so if they never had money their entire life, imagen a guy being poor all his life. and one day he wakes up to have hundreads of millions of bucks in his bank account, the possibility of that guy turning away from God could be very high. why? because too blessed people can belive they dont need God anymore. lols.. God isnt only there to bless like we are his master. God is there to guide us and give us a meaningful and beautyful life if we desire to follow him. so not evryone can be blessed too much without using it against God.

The majority of people are under the curse- it’s the natural default mode unless you realize that believers are redeemed from that curse. It’s a belief and a mindset/attitude .

Not surprising that some commenting remain confused on this subject. They have little despite responsibly caring for their finances and residence. Me too lol. You see so many around you that have so much more than you and many are not Christians or at least don't appear to serving God. Life is simply not fair and it's easy to get caught up thinking that we should somehow all have the same. Simply not reality. Some men are 6' 2 and some are 5'. Some live into their nineties and some die young. All a part of life on earth. Hard to accept when you feel you're on the short end but nothing you can do about it. I don't believe God gives more to those he feels have taken better care of their possessions whether it's money or physical items. Poor and starving people aren't poor because they fail to manage what they have.

theres not one verse in the entire bible that states to tithe on monetary wages...not one...first fruits are not tithes in the OT and tithing was for the jews only.....we as NT believers are redeemed from the law.....in the OT malachi was talking to the priests only and not the people...for only farmers and herdsman tithed in the OT.....paul said in gal 3;10 that if you keep even one law(tithe) then you must keep them all or your cursed, not blessed as these preachers say.....tithing in the OT was not 10%, there were 3 tithes for a total of 23.5%....so look whos not doing as they should...preachers cant even teach it right...plus in the 7th year there was no tithe....when will preacher man teach that...but it is biblical and under the law....oh yes the 6th year was double tithe...never hear that do ya...oh I forgot...the festival tithe was the people eating the tithe and buying wine and strong drink and having a party...you'll never hear that either
We tithe in the order of Milchezedek.(type of Christ) .this happened before the law was given.. Abraham, the father of faith cheerfully gave 10 %of everything he had after defeating the kings.. We do not tithe out of Law(Levitical priesthood) but out of Love
ok...if you are going to tithe then you must follow the same format the bible teaches for the tithe you decide to use....…..#1. Abraham tithed of the spoils of war and NOT of his personnel income or wealth...he also tithed the spoils that was NEVER MONEY but men, women, children and material possession....then we have Jacob who made the terms to God and God accepted Jacobs deal, but 20 yrs later when he returned it is never mentioned if and to who Jacob would have given anything too...….now as for the Mosaic law....tithing was always food and animals ONLY, NEVER MONEY and never once a week of a paycheck...….ONLY farmers and herdsman tithed, no others were required to......you always ate the tithe....you cant eat money......tithing under the law was 23.5% and there were 3 tithes and 5 offerings.....plus to tithe you had to live within a certain distance from the storehouse...….and then you tithed on the land God said tithe from......tithing was also an ordinance which the bible says Jesus on the cross died for all ordinances and laws and made them OBSELET...so what give you the right to pull even one law off the cross and practice it when Jesus ended it.....GAL 3:10 says if you even keep one law and not the rest you are cursed...so if you tithe and don't keep all 612 other laws you are cursed according to the apostle paul...
OK brother I here you.. Spirrutual principles cannot be argue.. They come to us as revelation knowledge.. Abraham gave 10%of everything he had to Milkhzedek.. We do not tithe according to the law as you explained mosaic law here. The order and covenant has changed.. Read Hebrews 7..and I also believe that where my heart is, its where my treasure is.. By the grace of God I will continue to tithe for the advancement of the kingdom of God.. I believe I got the revelation of tithing from the Holy Spirit.. & freed me from so much attachment to money, we use personal income because it is our current medium of change,,
no......you can not get revelation to do something that jesus brought to an end....in the new testament we are told to give as we desire according to our ability...and its not money....its time, its talent and if you like you can give money but theres no % one must adhere to.....and theres not one verse in the bible that says tithing was ever changed to money, not one......again Abraham did NOT give of his personnel wealth but ONLY spoils of war......we give in the NT but its always what we decide to do as to what our intentions are and NEVER because of compulsion or manipulation or coercion or out of fear either...……….
OK sir.. Let's close it.revelation its an inward knowing,, cannot be argued and goes with peace.. I have been tithing since 2012.& m doing that with LOVE and will continue cheerfully honouring the Lord with what He gave me as Abraham did(the Father of faith) .. I can see you are talking about the law and you are right Jesus came to fulfill the law(mosaic law) and prophecy. And m not talking about that...and to me Monday does not have a hold on me.. Whoever God places above me. I will continue honour them with firstfruits, tithes and offering.. Doing all this unto the Lord.just as m doing to my parents by meeting their needs... It fulfills me

So God is has for over 30 years has not let me start a business of my own or get a good paying job, Is because I'm poor so he is keeping me poor. That makes sense, Punish me for being poor.

My big dream -- I have waited till I have big resources. I will start with one action. Tomorrow too. Keep going. Keep doing. Keep improvement by adding bit by bit. I write this to remember I must act. He opens up an area of dominion , and I have been sitting on posters I want to get out or make.

Pictures are so powerful. Great expression of faith--picture it done. We can unite to Him and we get things done through Him. Been going to Him straightaway more often. He is trustworthy, dependable, in whom I can place all faith. He gets our redemption done. I need to picture THAT.
Maybe it's cause you have a victim mentality and blame circumstances instead of taking accountability. I highly doubt God is starting at your business saying no you probably have more issues than that. Make sure you're not the weapon formed against you causing you to not prosper
God gives us the tools, ingredients, people to move in faith. He gives us mor as we move in faith. He is not going to magically make it appear
