  • A botnet is a network of infected computers, used for criminal purposes. Visit Kaspersky Lab at goo.gl/mwf8eR to learn how our products can help you stay protected.
    Your computer could be part of a botnet, without you even knowing! Malware can turn your computer into a ‘bot’ to be used for launching DDoS attacks, phishing and spam campaigns, and online fraud campaigns.

    Really Clear this explanaition. I think one like that should be clear to customers with translation in other languages like Portuguese/Spanish/French that have a huge population that don't have any idea of this risk to be without a security system. Big market share!

      people like you are why i left the comm lets start off with what you said a net "pulls" no it doesnt and mirais spread malware on anything mips arms superpc powerpc armv4 v5 v6 v7 what ever it may be a mirai will infect it IoT botnets arent really a thing its just.a term for mirai and vps servers are rarely to get bruted Telnets require an expoit not just a shitty free. script SSH's are the easiest to grab and second a vps and a dedicated server are the same thing, now that doesnt mean they are in a literal sense the same thing because a vps is cloud dedicated is a rented physical server but basically the same thing ight im done ranting just know you sound so fucking stupid when you write it "pulls brutes"

      @@tinarum2348 nothing you just said has no grounds on my comment in any way why you going on about the archs?? that has nothing to do with what Im saying and "pulls bruted" is a typo kiddo and Im glad u left the "comm" because you seem like a nugget you literally just said "IoT botnets arent really a thing" im done.

    Is it possible to create a botnet that makes the connected hardware/software load and act as fast as a super computer? Say you are playing a high definition movie and you want to have it work at 180 pixels 60 frames per second?

    • @DaWaffleGamer
      @DaWaffleGamer Před 5 lety +1

    Yeah but how does virus software detect malicious programs that are developed on the fly? I can see detecting stuff they already know about but what about stuff they have no way of knowing about? My son does it to me all the time just to be funny and my virus thing never says a word. It's not like he has access to my computer. He lives over a thousand miles away. How do virus programs keep up with all this stuff?
