- Hey whovians and here is another soundtrack for you! Previously, I had created the full sequence of the 11th Doctors' regeneration through the soundtrack. However, after realising how overwhelming some of the sounds were within that soundtrack and after receiving a few complaints, I have had a second attempt at creating it. However, this time its so much better.
Also, after receiving the news that Matt Smith will be leaving and that the 11th Doctor will be regenerating in this years Christmas special, I thought it would be quite fitting to create this! Enjoy everybody and please comment your thoughts on this second attempt! - Zábava

Hartnel was the man who started it all, Troughton was the one who made us laugh, Pertwee was a Kung Fu hero, Tom Baker was the one who offered people jellybeans, Peter Davison was the young but brave one who risked his life because there was only enough antidote for Peri, Colin Baker was the one in the colourful patchwork clothing, Sylvester McCoy was the oddball who was completely underated, Paul McGann was the one who took Doctor Who to the big screen, Christopher Eccleston was the grinning one who revived the show, David Tennant was the one who could make us laugh or cry with a simple facial expression, but Matt Smith is MY doctor. All the actors have been brilliant, but Matt will always hold a special place in my heart. He was my first doctor, and for me he will always be the best. But we must never forget, the Doctor is not 11 people. He is 1 person, with 11 faces. Peter Capaldi will be the new doctor, just as all the others were the doctor. Whatever he does with the role will never discredit Matt's (or anyone else's) performance.

I will miss Matt Smith. I was sobbing when he left and his regeneration was so perfectly done. He left with a true speech about life and three smiles.
The episode itself, though, was not so well done.
We haven't had many good regeneration stories.
The Doctormentry End of Time and Caves of Androzani I know were good. Parting of the Ways was quite good, I haven't seen any others.
Holly Stevenson Examples like, Time and the Rani or The TV Movie, were an absolute mess
The Doctormentry The TV movie was okay at points, I think. Paul McGann makes a very good Doctor. But Roberts was a pretty terrible Master.

@PUNMPKIN True,I personally wasnt looking forward for a female Doctor cause at least for me the role of the doctor IS made for a man,but thats besides the point.Even if I wasnt looking forward for a female Doctor I was however looking forward for a new season of Doctor who and then CAME season 11 which plain BORING,it's the first DW season to mix with modern politics and I hated It for that,but I still had faith for season 12,well I had faith until I watched It.It was soooooo bad,season 11 wasnt exactly bad,It was just boring but season 12 was soooooo fucking bad.Every single episode had a mayor plot hole,season finale simply doesn't work,It makes no sense

Everyone has a first Doctor. But your first Doctor isn't always YOUR Doctor, it's different. Eccleston may have been my first Doctor. But Matt will always be MY Doctor. And I feel like this fanmade track goes perfectly with how he should have gone out. With a Fez, a bowtie, and screaming GERONIMO

Yeah. Tennant was where I started, and although he was great, Capaldi is just awesome. I think it's something to do with his condescending tone. It's a shame he's had some of the worst New-Who stories imo, because he tries so hard and when he is in a good episode (which thankfully happens more often than not) he goddamned kills it.

Yeah same I saw 9th first he was my favourite for a period of time(about 2 regenerations) then I saw Matt in his first episode and I just loved him.

now just...take a moment fore the 11th doctor,not only for doing so many great scenes,but for all the people that love him like me,we should all miss him for all the great work,and great companions that he has always had and the 11th will surely be remembered in doctor who history..i think i cried when i heard that the 11th was leaving...i just hope that we all miss him.

....I was a little different when Chris Regenerated... I will say that I didn't cry, but also I didn't like that he left. David is my favorite doctor, and when he regenerated into Matt I wanted to shoot my television...with a shotgun...11 times. But now that I have seen Matt in action I have grown to love him, just like David, and I'm probably going to buy the shotgun this time... :p

This is absolutely brilliant.
A beautiful and heartrending rendition of Matt Smith's theme - fits perfectly with the idea of his regeneration. Hats off to you, sir.
Matt left my heart broken, my mind shattered and my kidneys the wrong color.
As the yellow glow of regeneration energy takes him over, the Eleventh Doctor sees Rory Williams standing in front of him, holding hands with Amelia Pond. A calm Rory says "Goodbye, son" while smiling, and Amelia smiles while crying saying "Goodnight, my Raggedy Man." As Clara looks on, saddened, The Doctor sees River Song standing in front of the TARDIS doors. River smiles and says "Hello again, sweetie." The fear of regeneration no longer in him, The Doctor sees his past selves standing together, welcoming him into their group, as the form of the Twelfth Doctor takes over, Eleven takes his place next to The Tenth Doctor as he watches his Twelfth incarnation begin his life in the TARDIS, and chuckles at Clara's reaction before walking in to the Vortex with his past selves, as Ten puts his arm around his shoulder and quietly says "Allons-y, my friend."

I doubt they'd let an 18 year old American write Doctor Who :D I just like to write dramatic and romanticized versions of Doctor Who :). I'm working on all the regenerations. I've got 1,2,3,4,War,9, and 11 done :)
I do hope you have 10 to 11 in progress, or i'll steal the key to your TARDIS... honestly now, the others were briliant, I do want to see what you make of 10 to 11.

I know its nearly been a year but i still miss Matt smith. I wasn't that bothered about David tenant regenerating because i grew tired of him whining all the time. But this regeneration really ripped my heart out Matt smith was awesome :(

But come to think of it, THE THEORIES WERE RIGHT! The Doctor started as an old person, eventually getting younger. His next set of regenerations started with Capaldi :D MEANING HE'LL GET YOUNGER!

Benedict originally auditioned for the 11th Doctor, and Matt Smith originally auditioned for John Watson, but the BBC thought that Smith would suit the role of the Doctor, and they decided to audition Benedict for Sherlock instead.

Thanks guys! I didn't know it would gain this much positive feedback! Although these soundtracks take a lot of effort, I'm glad to see that people enjoy them. Also, it will be said to see him go and when I pictured him regenerating, I imagined he would do it to this music. I'm really glad you enjoyed :)

This song is ending, but the story never ends. We all loved Ten, and now just as Eleven has gotten into a special place in our hearts... Stephen Moffat a.k.a. the devil, has gone and tried to break them. All the same, Ten and Rose, Eleven and Clara, among the rest, this is going to top all specials in the history of television itself!

Of the snippets I have seen in the last week or so, matt smiths final hour is gonna be an emotional tear-jerker and a revelation or two for 80% of the current whovians, guaranteed. This will be matt smith's finest hour.

TIMELORD327 Actually, it's always been REALLY dark. In the pilot, the Doctor considers killing two people because they happened to stumble on the TARDIS.
Originally it was really dark, Now for some reason Actors of Chris, David tennant and matt smith were getting more child friendly and friendlier thank god Peter capaldi series is more dark than mat smith is. Chris to me did not play a good role, David tennant was spot on and matt smith killed it by adding soo much romance, Then Peter capaldi nailed it being the doctor as the classic is dark like his series is

Great work. I may have listened to this a lot. We will never forget the eleventh incarnation of the Doctor as we never forgot the first. As a wise man once said 'we've all got to change, but we must remember what we used to be'. Matt we will never forget you. I hope he comes back in the 60th.
10 years later, I still miss this era of doctor who.
