    Superb video James. Thank you for sharing the atmospheric images allied to a great choice of music. The area above Honister over Moses Trod and the surrounding fells holds a special place for my wife and I as we’d visited there at least once a year. I’m afraid that its only a memory now but you’ve brought it back with remarkable clarity. Thank you so much.

      Thanks Trevor. I get a lot of messages about how these videos trigger memories which is just great to here. It really is a very interesting area, furnished with stunning views when the conditions are right of course.

    Wow. That closing segment with the music was stunning... I'm in the deep south US (we have nothing at all like this landscape) -- I hated to see the video end.

    Great video James. You persevered and ended up with some amazing shots. I love the way you put them together at the end with that great background music. I seem to always watch your slideshows twice!

      Thank you very much Mary. I like formatting my videos this way, sort of like wrapping it up with a conclusion of the days results

    Some really lovely shots there James. Glad the conditions improved. I was in the Lakes for nearly a week last month, and all but one day was low level cloud and it had to be the day I had a lie in and planned a low level walk! 🥴 Good call on shortening the hike. Fatigue, if ignored, can be just as bad for your health as anything else! 😊

      Thanks Alan. The weather is so unpredictable and hard to plan ahead sometimes for the best conditions. It was a sensible decision as I was huffing n puffing getting up to Brandreth .

    Well done. I think you've done full justice to that area in that weather. Loved the images ... pride of place to a wintry shot from Haystacks/Innominate Tarn over to the Gables that has pride of place on my wall. I need to do something to change it as it was bought from a Keswick Gallery ...

    Some fantastic images James, we were in the lakes a few weeks back and the weather was very different day to day over the three days we were there. We are heading upto that area the next time we visit the lakes, starting at honister slate mine as you did. Enjoyed the video mate as always 👍

    Thanks for the outing James, much appreciated. How do you arrange your catalogue of images? Date order? Do you label your images in a particular way. Love the first image and the rest of course.

    • @JamesRBurnsVLOG
      @JamesRBurnsVLOG  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thanks Steve, appreciate it. I rename each image based on date and then location followed by a # and number depending if there’s multiple shots of the same location. I then put them in a folder, again with the date and location but include all images taken on that day. I just a habit for me now and helps with the work flow. I also no longer use LR
