I’m 10 and I’ve done SO many Disney things and last year I did something and showed it to a Disney employee and she told me about DCP and said she can’t wait to see me there. I just LOVE Disney so much and it’s one of the things that make me so so so so so so happy when I think about it! #disneyfever
i love watching people go to traditions, only because i may never get to go to the DCP, so i would love to see as much as i can.. i dont think it spoils the magic, if anything it just makes people more excited to see it in person :) love your channel!
One thing about DVC: you can use your vacation points in Disney Properties around the world OR switch them for RCA points and use them in other hotels around the world. In three years in the DVC I stayed in the most expensive hotels in the Orlando location with the lowest tiered points and that would’ve easily cost me over $20,000.00 sooooo... The DVC is a lot more complex than what that salesperson told you. I really enjoy being a DVC member and five years later I am getting my money’s worth even without stepping into the actual parks. 💖 Love your videos btw.

Being a Disneyland NUT (I like Disney World, too, but have only been there once) it's really interesting and fun to hear cast members' stories from either of the parks. You stand out and shine for many reasons, including the fact that you're articulate and not obnoxious. ;) (Seriously!!) As a guest at the parks I am always very aware that we can't have many of our own experiences without you cast members, and I always appreciate and acknowledge the wonderful ones. Awesome tips Olivia! Vlogging anywhere near where you live can easily have slip-ups even when you don't mean to. I've made so many rookie mistakes in my CZcams career and still do from time to time. Sometimes it's a real pain in the butt to fix. I watch your channels because I love your positivity, I've been a Disney fan for a lot of my life, hearing you talk about the parks takes me back to the magical memories I have from my experience at Disneyland in 2015 for VidCon, and I want to support a fellow college student. I can only imagine the challenges you're facing doing CZcams and a Masters degree. I'm only a Bachelor student and I barely have time to record.

I got to be surrounded by the online community I'd been a part of for so long, learn so much about how to navigate the platform, and meet a ton of wicked people I'd only interacted with through screens, but now I'm longing to go back every summer and every convention in the Maritime provinces fails in comparison. Since my husband, daughter and I are huge Disney fans, we decided to just move to the Orlando area back in 2009 (we had been living in Gettysburg, PA). We had the annual pass for the first two years of living here. After that we've just been getting the FL resident 4 day pass. Also, we've gotten in free several times because of two people we know who work for Disney and are high up in the company. Actually, the one friend just retired this year after 40+ years with Disney! In between going to the parks we like to visit the resorts and Disney Springs. This is a great video. You provided excellent tips to keep everyone safe from dangerous situations/ getting fired. I really enjoy your videos - especially your experiences doing the DCP!

I don't vlog, nor have I worked for Disney yet... but I did work for a similar company where I was posting to social media about my work and someone who was looking to get me fired found a small technicality in one of my posts that resulted in immediate termination. So this vlog is super helpful and a good reminder to always be extra careful about what and how you say things or even just portray things. It sucks that I can relate to this video but I really enjoyed it and it's awesome that you're creating awareness. I wish I would have had a video like this so I would have known!! Love your videos! I've worked for Disney for the last two years. I started in the Disney Store as a Cast Member, then went to WDW for a summer CEP where I worked in Disney Springs. I’m a current PT cast member (trying to go full time) who wants to start vlogging about my experiences working at Disney, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. I want to tell positive stories, share my fav snacks and rides, give little tips that I’ve learned from going to Disney a LOT as a guest and my passion for pin trading. I’m really scared to do it because 1) I’m afraid of looking/sounding stupid and 2) I’m not sure if I can and not get in trouble. So I really appreciate this series of videos you’ve done. It gives me a little more confidence but I’m still really nervous to do it. I would love to know your thoughts.
I think you have a wide range of experiences that people visiting Orlando could really benefit from! As long as your doing mostly tips and tricks, I don't forsee there being a problem (as long none of it is classified info of course!) You might want to save any stories you have of the place you're currently working for after you're done working there... But it really just depends on the story content! But really, I think having had experience working at all 3 parks in the area gives you really good insight into how to share with people how best to schedule vacations to Orlando! Best of luck!
well on some of the videos of the international programs videos made by Disney they did show some scenes of Cast Members taking some of the extra classes at Disney University.
im sure some things have changed about the disney college program since the last time you were at the program so it helps to keep what you know about the program up to date

I'm glad you did that! Once a fellow cast member looked me up in the employee database so they could find where I worked, but since i don't use my last name, it was much harder for them to get that information. And I know this because when he came up to me while I was working, he said "I looked you up on the hub but Simone must not be your last name because I searched and searched but nothing came up" lol (It's funny now but it was creepy and nervewracking at the time) Anyways, I told my leaders about it and they said to tell them if it happened again because our safety is important too!! Long way of saying, I'm glad you changed your channel name! :) haha I hope you have a wonderful time this spring!!
Here’s a friendly amendment to your advice - employers usually can find out your CZcams, Facebook, twitter, if you use a fake name as long as you use your usual email and phone number to register for those sites. I work for a private investigation firm. I’ve done countless background checks. I can assure you aliases don’t mean crap.

I have always kind of wanted to see a Disney version of People of Walmart. Like the two grown women pushing a grown man in a stroller, or the family of four in front of Trillo in the pouring rain where dad had a small umbrella for himself but mom, 4 year old, and infant under 6 months were getting soaked.
just a note on the DVC, they do an exchange with another timeshare company that allows them to travel to other destinations around the world! you can also put your points towards an Adventures by Disney trip :) but definitely agree with your tips and points, super helpful for anyone wanting to vlog on their DCP or ICP

Wow Congratulations!!! That's so awesome! I hope you have a blast! My tip for gaining subscribers is to niche your channel. I watch a lot of Sunny Lenarduzzi and Sean Cannell, and they have a lot of great tips regarding this subject. If you want it to be a channel focused on Disney, then make content about that! Talk about your application process and what you're doing to get ready to move halfway around the world! That's what I would recommend :) Best of luck on your journey!

You know I still have a lot of unanswered questions and I'm not sure if I'll ever truly know the reason behind it all but even though I wish someone would have simply spoken to me about their issues with me I can't change that so I just have to put my best foot forward & as Walt Disney would say, just keep moving forward❤️
I've worked for Disney for the last two years. I started in the Disney Store as a Cast Member, then went to WDW for a summer CEP where I worked in Disney Springs. After that I went back to work on the management team in the Disney Store and now I'm working in entertainment in Disneyland Paris. And I just like your videos xx

I’m a current PT cast member (trying to go full time) who wants to start vlogging about my experiences working at Disney, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. I want to tell positive stories, share my fav snacks and rides, give little tips that I’ve learned from going to Disney a LOT as a guest and my passion for pin trading.
I’m really scared to do it because 1) I’m afraid of looking/sounding stupid and 2) I’m not sure if I can and not get in trouble.
So I really appreciate this series of videos you’ve done. It gives me a little more confidence but I’m still really nervous to do it. I would love to know your thoughts.
I think you have a wide range of experiences that people visiting Orlando could really benefit from! As long as your doing mostly tips and tricks, I don't forsee there being a problem (as long none of it is classified info of course!) You might want to save any stories you have of the place you're currently working for after you're done working there... But it really just depends on the story content! But really, I think having had experience working at all 3 parks in the area gives you really good insight into how to share with people how best to schedule vacations to Orlando! Best of luck!
well on some of the videos of the international programs videos made by Disney they did show some scenes of Cast Members taking some of the extra classes at Disney University.
im sure some things have changed about the disney college program since the last time you were at the program so it helps to keep what you know about the program up to date

I'm glad you did that! Once a fellow cast member looked me up in the employee database so they could find where I worked, but since i don't use my last name, it was much harder for them to get that information. And I know this because when he came up to me while I was working, he said "I looked you up on the hub but Simone must not be your last name because I searched and searched but nothing came up" lol (It's funny now but it was creepy and nervewracking at the time) Anyways, I told my leaders about it and they said to tell them if it happened again because our safety is important too!! Long way of saying, I'm glad you changed your channel name! :) haha I hope you have a wonderful time this spring!!

I have always kind of wanted to see a Disney version of People of Walmart. Like the two grown women pushing a grown man in a stroller, or the family of four in front of Trillo in the pouring rain where dad had a small umbrella for himself but mom, 4 year old, and infant under 6 months were getting soaked.

just a note on the DVC, they do an exchange with another timeshare company that allows them to travel to other destinations around the world! you can also put your points towards an Adventures by Disney trip :) but definitely agree with your tips and points, super helpful for anyone wanting to vlog on their DCP or ICP

Wow Congratulations!!! That's so awesome! I hope you have a blast! My tip for gaining subscribers is to niche your channel. I watch a lot of Sunny Lenarduzzi and Sean Cannell, and they have a lot of great tips regarding this subject. If you want it to be a channel focused on Disney, then make content about that! Talk about your application process and what you're doing to get ready to move halfway around the world! That's what I would recommend :) Best of luck on your journey!
